The dragon fell like a Star from the sky, Unstoppable was the best word to describe it. Essence on the other hand was calm. A little to calm for someone who was about to die while being crushed. No... that's not the Essence we know, He is a child who makes mistakes but is always aware of them. He is no blind to his failures. He panics when he miscalculates and cries bitter tears when he fails. But in this moment where he should have broken down in tears and wept in endless tears, his calm was a sign that something more was at play. Everyone else panicked and shouted to Essence to run from the descending dragon Essence looks behind for 1 second and mumbles out something which no one hears due to the loud boom of air created by the dragon. but Cinder recognizes when he is trying to say from his lips.
Back when Essence was new to everything. He was picked on for his odd yet weirdly entrancing behaviour. He used to blabber on all day and say, "I'll do the evil, so your hands are not stained by blood!" Which clearly labelled him a target for bullying. and bullied he was, with no friends and nothing. At that time one day Cinder approached Essence out of pity "Yo wanna be him kid!" "My names Essence but u can call me him too, as im him fr!" Essence answered in the most normal tone he could muster up. Cinder mocked him more "You do know these guys bully you @ss for this weird sh!t talk of urs. Yet u dont change 1 bit. U wanna get the award for the most bullied person or what?" Essence types in an innocent tone "because they dont see the worth in my words. when they do they will regret not listing to me fr." He spoke words which should have get him bullied more. Suddenly the tone changed "Is what u think I was gonna say right? lol you are no different. Me and bullied? not in 100 years. Losers get bullied. but.... cinder was not amused by the tone change first but now in battle with the dragon Cinder remembered the line Essence said, "Essence and Loss don't go in the same sentence!"
Essence quickly turned around and pulled out his trusted rod sword and jumped back after throwing it at the dragon. The earth under the dragon split open and flying rocks hit sending him flying. He broke 3 of his ribs and hand blood flowing from everywhere. Just in time a system panel popped up. "Status effect - Adrenalin rush is being applied" Essence has the next 7 mins and 32 seconds before the pain hits him hard. Then he sees the dragon was again where he was chained. The rod essence threw get jammed near it nose making it painful to smell. only it could only relay on his ability to hear. but then it chained up again. but its neck being the target this time. Then Essence shouts at the top of his lungs "NOW!!!" It was Raghav and his teams turn. The elephants pulled out the supports of a bridge and made it fall right onto the dragon. It was utterly crushed. The dragon which ruled the skis and saw everyone beneath it was now crushed under the creation of a "Rats" Humans ever never the strongest nor the fastest. But the owners of this planet had 1 thing abundant knowledge and knowledge hungry people. The dragon laid all bloody under the rubble. Essence approached it and before anyone else could, he stopped then "Its acting dead. It's a flaying lizard but is snake minded." The dragon rises from the rubble shaking but strong "Smart....!!" It gets ready to bite but before it could fly up again the Elephant hold its leg tight onto the ground making it unable to move. The dragon swings his enormous body around and then he swings away the large Elephants like they weigh nothing. but the elephants didn't leave its side. Essence climbed up the dragon and plunged another rod in the left eye completely blinding him permanently. The Dragon swinged his head and threw Essence away at Raghav. He checked up on Essence. he bleeds more and more; this time his internal organs were injured. He could barely stand, and his adrenalin rush buff was also about to run out. he knew when it will, he will die from the pain. There is only 4 minutes and 7 seconds left. The dragon also now wanted to Escape from their gasp. his pride couldn't let him run but his desperation led him to flee. But the Elepahants were too heavy, and his injured legs and wings won't let him fly. A whistle rang in the air, it was Bronzy. He flew around the dragon's head in quick succession and tanged it in strong chains. The other end of the chains was held by the countless many who were left. They pulled back the dragon's neck and made it open his mouth. Essence shouted at Cinder "HAND THEM TO ME." Cinder knew what Essence was talking about.
Cinder remembered another time. Essence and him were playing games and then Essence asked a question out of the blue "Yo dawg.... if u got an opportunity to jump in path of a bullet for sum1. would u?" Cinder was caught off-guard "Woah u getting shot or sumthing? "No js answer fast!" Essence pushed him. "Well can I choose Dinner with the guy who runs the town?" "I'll kick u outta the server if u say that sh!t again." Essence was really disappointed at his answer. "Well, I probably won't do it for sum1 random maybe family or a loved one. Why ask?" Essence asked gloomily "Am I in those loved ones?" Cinder jolted away in game "EW IM NOT GAY FOR YOU. IM STRAIGH ASF." "OMG Y DO U TAKE EVERYTHING SOO WEIRDLY IM JUST TRYING TO BE FRIENDLY IN A PLOTONIC WAY!" Essence denied the claims but had a sad realization "Well..... its probably no, right?" Cinder answered without hesitating "Ofc dude. At least for now. could change in the future tho. but y even ask this?" Essence continued with his gloomy tone "nothing man js curiosity." Cinder takes a small pause and also asks "just out of curiosity as well. what will you do in the same situation?" Essence let out a small laugh "I asked this, what do you think i'll do?"
Cinder threw the crackers towards Essence. The last dich effort to subdue the great beast a suicidal plan. Cinder was never ready to use this but, in the end, someone has to. Even when his heart ached to throw it for Essence. he had to. But rushed footsteps could be heard. Loud footsteps, who could it be? Is it herb or Rantaro? no, they were too far away holding the dragon down. Noone else should have the courage to do it. Its stature is also quite massive. then it clicked for Cinder who it was. It's the monkey. It grabbed the crackers and ran towards the dragon. Raghav's cries could be heard echoing everywhere "NOOOOO!!!!!!" But the Monkey didn't stop. Essence called out Cinder. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? DO IT!!" The monkey jumped on the dragon's head and threw in the crackers. Cinder with shaking hands lit them on fire. BOOM! A loud noise muffled by the dragon's head rang in the surrounding. it blew up the dragon's face into pieces. its mandible left with just bone and its eyes and nose burning a flame. Pieces of its flesh flying around. yet it stood standing. but his next words showed his helplessness "MERCY!!!....." Essence stood up and ran towards the broken dragon and jumped into the air. "I don't show mercy to who look down at me!" Essence exclaims with pride and plunges a rod right into the burning flesh. The dragon roars but slowly its roar dies down. Essence still holding the burning the rod also burned in agony but didn't let the rod go. After a while, the dragon's head which was all mighty and high fell down on the ground with a thud. Essence was also thrown away when the burning head fell. everyone ran to Essence and made him sit on a wall. Raghav was not one of them as he was sitting next to a burned hand. It was of the monkey. His tears had no end. Back at Essence, he was in a dangerous state. His adrenalin was about to run out in 1 minute and 13 seconds. everyone was next to him trying to speak to him, but his head is black and vision burly. He could hear nothing they were speaking, and he was about to fall unconscious. "Don't close your eyes, Apostle! you will fall into the hands of death. I bring you a gift which was promised." Robin arrived to save the day like a hero. Essence opned his eyes and gave it little to no though and then spoke "My gift... I choose for the power equal to the ruin to be held by him." As he points at herb. everyone was confused about who and what is Essence talk about, but herb and Rantaro knew what it meant as they have seen it happen in front of them. Robin laughed out loud "OH APOSTLE! YOUR CUNNING SURE KNOWS NO BOUNDS." as herb started to fly in the sky and shine like a star. Everyone ran away from Herb but not Essence as he knew what it was... and because he was unable to. Slowly the light subsided. Herb's hands were glowing green. Essence told Herb to use the heal on him. Herb pressed his hands on him and said loudly shouted "HEAL!" ... nothing happened. Essence then explained how to use the skill "Just imagine the green glow mana flow to me. no need to shout random bullsh!t." Then a pop up scared them both "30 seconds before effect: adrenalin runs out" Herb quickly hurried to heal Essence and they were done before the 30 seconds could run out with barely any time to spare. They started to celebrate the win. Herb was exhausted from the ordeal and the healing right after. Essence slapped Herb on his back and pointed him to the other injured fellows. Cinder was among them, but he rejected the healing as he was just exhausted because he was drained. Cinder stood next to Essence and pointed towards Raghav. Essence and him approached and helped him through it. He cried in the arms of Essence "WHY DID YOU LET HIM DIE? WHY ONLY HIM?" Essence hugged him tight "No brother. Don't cry. Your friend wouldn't like you crying." Essence's words brought not comfort but his hug did. The fight left everyone broken. But before they could regroup, Robin ended up being the bearer of bad news "Oh ignorant fools. your blindness towards my unusual kind nature makes me laugh." Essence smirks "Why do you always think this way, Bruh?" "Looks like even your sharp tongue has also recovered" Robin was angry but didn't let it out. Essence answered his previous words "Also, the thing you said before. Me being unaware, well I see your tricks. I know why you didn't say it was a prize for me winning against this dragon. Because it was not for the dragon anyways, right?" Robin grinned as big as he could. Essence shouts out loud "EVERYONE!" to catch their gazes. "The fight is not over. We all have 1 last push left for survival..... No this night is still the hunt." As soon as Essence takes a pause. The Moon tuned red. The ground shook, the sky changed colour and the noise of monsters crackled and echoed Essence ended his speech
