Chapter 11 - Volume 2: Chapter 1.

I was in the infirmary, contemplating recent events. Despite the practice I've been putting into my new physical abilities, it wasn't enough to prevent injury.

So here I was, lying on a medical bed, examining my right leg, which turned out to be sprained at a grade 2 level. Fortunately, my body wasn't more seriously damaged; I only got a small scratch from the fall and a momentary daze from hitting my head.

Anyway, I was fine; the only downside was having to rest my right leg to prevent the sprain from worsening. But nothing I couldn't handle or endure, for that matter.

Still, I ended up injured due to my recklessness. Even though I'd been practicing for a backflip, I miscalculated my landing, causing my right leg to twist abruptly. This resulted in my ankle ligaments not being able to withstand the sudden, sharp movement, partially tearing them.

Despite having a physique that surpasses the average, that didn't mean I couldn't suffer physical injuries. After all, I was still human, not someone with superhuman powers.

I'd have to be more careful not to injure myself again. My confidence in having a new athletic body led me to injury when I clearly recognized that in my world, I wasn't accustomed to doing parkour or acrobatics. I let myself be carried away by the muscle memory of my new body, and in the end, I ended up hurting myself.

Well, you learn from your mistakes.

"Nakatomi Hiroki," a voice called, pulling me out of my thoughts.

I turned my gaze toward the voice to see the nurse who attended to my injury.

"That's me. So... is everything done?" I asked, eyeing the crutches and papers the nurse held. This school doesn't seem to have any issues with expenses, huh?

The nurse sighed before leaning the crutches against the wall, then approached me. "The school will be informed of your injury. These papers are the medical certificate for your injury so you can rest. However it will be your decision whether you want to rest the allocated days or not. But I recommend you don't overexert your leg so it can recover."

She handed me the certificate before giving me some painkillers. "These are painkillers in case you feel any pain. By the way, Nakatomi, how did you get this injury?" The nurse looked at me expectantly for an answer.

"I positioned my foot wrong, and it twisted," I vaguely replied, shrugging. "By the way, is it mandatory to use the crutches? Because honestly, I'd prefer not to use them," I added.

"No, it's not. But it would be better if you did," the nurse gave me a flat look.

"Yeah... no thanks, I don't want to draw attention with..." I gestured toward the crutches "...that. I'll just be careful while walking."

The nurse just gave an exasperated sigh before shrugging. "I guess that's it. You can go then."

"Thanks," I thanked her before storing my medical certificate along with the medications and then slowly getting off the bed, and putting my shoes back on. I was careful with the bandage on my leg.

Once I made sure the bandage was covered by my pants, I started to leave the infirmary, taking out my cell phone to check the time.

7:34 PM.

It's a bit late, but there's nothing I can do about it. Fortunately, there was no one in the infirmary, or at least, I only noticed the staff.

Before reaching the first-year dormitories, I stopped by the convenience store to grab some snacks. After that, it didn't take me long to reach the dormitories.

Upon entering the first-year dormitories, I made my way to the lobby.

I quickly scanned the area to see if the person I was looking for was present. It wasn't easy to identify a girl with brown hair and a figure many women in my world would envy.

I approached Matsushita quite slowly, doing my best to hide any limp completely. I also kept my expression neutral, as she could easily pick up on anything happening with her observation skills.

"Matsushita," I called out, causing her gaze to shift in my direction.

"Nakatomi-kun, I suppose you managed to do it?" Matsushita asked me.

"Yeah," I said, pulling out the cell phone Matsushita had lent me to deceive the Class C students. I entered the password and then handed it over. "As promised. I didn't check any private matters," not that I needed to anyway.

Matsushita looked at me to see if I was lying before nodding when she didn't detect any falsehood in my tone or expression. "So... are you going to tell me why you needed it?" she asked.

I looked around to see if anyone was nearby or listening to our conversation. Some people were talking to the receptionist, but they weren't paying attention to us. But still, it was better to be safe than sorry.

"We'd better find a safer place to talk. Follow me," I replied.

Matsushita nodded, understanding my point. Then we began to walk to leave the dormitories and find a place where no one could overhear our conversation.

We stopped in one of the alleyways that was quite deserted. We were still close to the dormitories, so going back inside shouldn't take long once we finished our conversation.

Matsushita gestured for me to continue the conversation we were having.

I sighed wearily. "Well. As I told you before, my theory about someone trying to attack Class D to affect our points was correct," I said.

"Then it was true? But how did they plan to attack us in the first place? How did you manage to know they would attempt to attack us?" Matsushita bombarded me with questions.

"First, yes. Second, they were trying to set a trap for Sudou, due to his impulsive behavior. They planned to provoke him into hitting them and then make a complaint to the school. And third, I began to suspect when Class B lost a large number of points. They shouldn't have lost so many infractions because Class B has the best cohesion among the students," I took a brief pause to take a deep breath. "That means they lost points due to external factors. Which led me to the theory that one of the other classes had something to do with it. In this case, Class A and Class C."

"So, since Class B has the best cohesion among our year, it's unlikely they would lose points for infractions in class. Therefore, the only explanation would be that another class was involved in the significant loss of points," Matsushita elaborated, understanding my reasoning.

"Exactly," I snapped my fingers in affirmation. "So I did some investigation on my own into the suspicious classes. It yielded results because I found out an important fact. Despite Class A appearing quite coordinated on the surface, there's a crack within. This is because Class A is divided into two factions that fight against each other to gain total leadership of the class... This left me with only one possible suspect," I commented.

"Class C," Matsushita added. "Because since Class A is fighting for leadership among themselves, they wouldn't have time to attack other classes when they're trying to solve their own problems. So that means Class C attacked Class B. But in what way? How did no one find out about the problem?" Matsushita asked thoughtfully.

I shrugged. "I have no idea what Class C did to make Class B lose so many points. But I guess maybe they were trying to prove a point."

"Which is?" She looked at me with curiosity.

"Classes can't earn class points through normal means. They can only be gained through trimester exams or special exams. But despite this, we can lose class points through normal means. For example, our behavior in class is a factor in deducting class points, but we can't earn points even if we have the best behavior of the year. So I think Class C's motive is to find out how restrictive the school rules can be."

Class C, or rather the self-proclaimed leader of Class C, wants to find out how strict the school can be regarding punishments.

Despite the rumors about Ryūen from the school's students, he's not a foolish person.

That's why he first tried to attack Class B to test the waters. Even though the attack didn't affect Class B with its class cohesion, it managed to deduct a significant amount of points.

Ryūen wants to know how strict the school's policies on violence are, but he couldn't just hit someone and expect to get away with it. That's why he devised a plan against Sudō; his violent behavior only serves to favor Class C with the elaborate scheme.

Ryūen wants to know through Sudō what punishment a student can receive for committing an act like violence. They also take advantage of finding out how many points a class can lose when a student is suspended or expelled from the school.

"How restrictive can the school rules be?" Matsushita repeated some of my words in a questioning tone. She frowned thoughtfully, trying to figure out the meaning of the words.

"Yes. What I mean is how much they can exploit the loopholes that exist in the school. For example, there are some places where there are no security cameras where you can set a trap for someone to get suspended or expelled from the school. Sudō would be a perfect person to provoke in these areas. You just have to craft a logical accusation in which the affected student can't defend themselves, also making sure they don't have any evidence to support their word."

Matsushita's eyes widened, understanding what I was referring to. "You mean that, even though our class can't earn class points normally, we can make other classes lose points, as long as we craft a well-thought-out scheme."

"Yes, but it's a double-edged sword. If you're not careful, you can cut yourself. Even though Class C knows the consequences they might face if they mess up, they still plan to go through with it for some reason I don't know."

"But how can you be sure that Class C would try to attack our class? Class C could attack Class A if they know their rift, right? I think for them, it could be an easier target, no wait..." Matsushita stopped, reconsidering. "Forget what I said. Our class is an easier target because several students in our class can be easily deceived. Still, how did you figure out it was Sudō-kun?"

Well, it was thanks to my future knowledge, but I couldn't say that. Still, Class C wasn't exactly stealthy when studying us. I noticed how several Class C students were following some of my classmates.

Mostly the easiest ones to deceive, like Ike, Yamauchi, and Sudō. Other classmates could qualify as victims of deception, but why bother when you have 3 idiots on a silver platter?

"You're partly right; I wasn't sure if someone would try to attack our class, but that was before I observed a commotion where Class C students openly provoked Sudō. Only then did I realize that Class C had been watching us."

"I... Wow... you're impressive, Nakatomi-kun. Your deduction and observation skills are quite high. You know, if you showed a bit more of this side to people, you'd be more popular," Matsushita commented.

"Meh. I'm not doing it for popularity, you know? If I show my talents to my class, they'll probably demand more from me or become dependent on my help. I prefer to keep my lazy life," I replied, lazily shrugging my shoulders. "Besides, knowing about my skills makes you a special person, Matsushita~" I joked.

Matsushita's reaction was too adorable. Her cheeks flushed as she tried to say something, but she gave up and ended up pouting while hitting my shoulder.

I chuckled softly.

"Well, I guess I'll head to my room. Tomorrow is the first of July, so I want to rest. See you, Matsushita. Have a good night."

I said as I turned my back to enter the dormitories again.

"Good night, Nakatomi-kun," I heard her say.

Oh, I never told Matsushita to use her borrowed phone. I just told her the reason why I needed her phone. I hope she doesn't realize.

It didn't take me long to reach my room 388.

I opened the door with my access key, and took off my shoes to enter. I put my bag on the desk table. Before sitting on the bed with my legs crossed.

First, I should try to explain to Sudō what happened before he confronts me tomorrow with an angry expression. Sigh, this is going to be quite troublesome.

I quickly sent him a message.

Contact: Sudō Ken.

["Hey, Sudō. How did it go with the girl?"]

A few minutes passed before Sudō replied.

["The girl was pretty shy, I guess. I didn't talk much with her because I just rejected her and apologized to her, telling her my reasons before leaving,"] Sudō Ken.

Wait, what?

In my confusion and disbelief, Sudō sent me another text message.

["So, what did you tell Komiya and Kondō?"] Sudō Ken.

Hold on, what happened here?

I read the text again just to make sure I wasn't reading it wrong or hallucinating. That shouldn't be possible, the confession was totally fake. So... How?

I guess I hit my head harder than I thought. Hallucination or not, it didn't matter much.

I'm seeing an opportunity here, and I have to use it.

["At least you responded to the girl; she'll have to get over it sooner or later. And about Komiya and Kondō, don't bother talking to them. They're just jealous. They were talking about being starters or something."]

["Bastards. I knew they were plotting something by calling me to a secluded place. So what happened? Did they try to fight you?"] Sudō Ken.

["Yeah. They tried to provoke me into starting a fight, but when they saw the provocation wasn't working, they left. So don't bother meeting them in isolated places. It could be a trap."]

["So they provoked you into hitting them? Why would they let themselves get hit? Those bastards are crazy."] Sudō Ken.

Friend, it's pretty obvious. It's not surprising that you hit them in the canon without realizing they weren't trying to fight you.

["No. They were smart. If I hit them, but they didn't hit me, then I'd have problems with the school if they made a complaint."]

["I see. Damn bastards, then they were trying to set me up. Just because they're jealous of my talent in basketball. At least that girl who confessed to me saved me from something unexpected."] Sudō Ken.

No, friend, there wasn't even a girl. It was me who saved you. I was going to tell him Horikita planned to send him to that place and then explain why. Then I would use the favor Horikita owes me to make him believe it was true. But I guess it's not necessary now. Given the coincidence, I'll use it for another factor.

["It's best to give them space. Anyway, don't do anything reckless or you'll disappoint Horikita."]

["Shit, am I that obvious?"] Sudō Ken.

["No. But you just confirmed it xD"]

I sent another message, but Sudō left me on read. I shrugged as I chuckled internally. At least I confirmed that Sudō is also in love with Horikita in this timeline.

Now I had to send a message to someone else.

I have no idea what Kushida is up to right now. But I hope she's not too busy. I scrolled through my contacts again to send her a message.

Contact: Kushida Kikyō,

["Hey, Kushida. Can you come to my room? I guess I owe you an explanation of what just happened. Oh, also bring the recordings."]

["Okay. But you'll have to wait a few minutes,"] Kushida Kikyō.

Lol. She replied pretty quickly, huh?

["Okay. No problem."]

I guess it's going to be a long night before I can rest, I thought as I looked at the ceiling.

-----------------------

15 minutes after Nakatomi gave the letter to Sudō.

A second-year girl who had delivered a confession letter was sitting on one of the benches, gazing at the beautiful ocean view.

The girl was nervous as she awaited the boy she liked. She hoped he would come to this place to give her an answer about his feelings. She only hoped she wouldn't be rejected, and if she were, things could get awkward with the boy she liked. But she didn't want that; even if she were rejected, she wanted to remain friends.

"I'm sorry... for the... wait."

The girl turned to see a red-haired boy with a delinquent look who was panting and sweating, which scared her a lot.

Who is that guy? That's what the girl nervously thought.

The girl tried to speak but was quickly interrupted by the boy.

"Look. I'm grateful that you're in love with me. But I'm already in love with someone else... So I'm really sorry." The red-haired boy bowed to her.

"But..." The girl tried to refute it, but the red-haired boy didn't let her.

"You don't have to say anything. I've read a lot on the internet, and I know that after someone is rejected, they want space for themselves. So I'll leave you alone."

The delinquent-looking red-haired boy turned around before leaving the scene. The girl blinked several times, making sure her eyes weren't failing her.

What just happened? For the first time in her life, this girl was too confused because she had just gone through the strangest moment of her life.

.

.

.

I was sitting on my bed with my legs crossed while Kushida leaned her back against mine, stretching her legs out and resting them against the wall.

I was explaining to her first why I thought Class C would attack our Class D. I explained almost exactly the same thing I explained to Matsushita.

"So. The reason I realized Class C wanted to attack our class was when they publicly provoked Sudō. Sudō is someone who easily gets provoked. Not to mention he doesn't have enough intelligence to realize it's intentional. So, it would be easy to set him up."

"So let me get this straight..." Kushida gently pushed her back against mine. "You found out another class was going to set a trap for us to lose points. And all it took was seeing Class B's point loss?"

Well, when she puts it that way, from her perspective, it must be pretty impressive. Although Kushida didn't know the reason for this was my knowledge. But it's better she doesn't know about that.

"I guess so," I shrugged.

I felt Kushida rest her head against my shoulder. "So, how did you solve it? What was your plan to prevent our class points from decreasing?"

I was silent for a moment as I looked at Kushida's head over my shoulder. "Well... First, I had to know where in the school they would set the trap, I also had to know what day and time they would execute it."

I tapped Kushida's head, making her give me a look, but when I pointed to the closet in my room, Kushida gave me space to stand up as she settled back into my bed with her legs crossed.

I got up from my bed and then approached my closet to pull out a drawer and take out some papers. They were maps of the school which I marked with a red marker where the camera locations were.

"The place where the trap would be executed had to be an isolated place where no evidence could be left behind. That means there shouldn't be security cameras," I explained to Kushida as I handed her the papers.

"These are...?" Kushida looked at me impressed.

"They're maps of the school buildings. What's marked in red would be where the security cameras are located," I finished for her.

"But when did you have time to do this? Marking the maps of each school building isn't an easy task," Kushida commented.

"Well, to be honest, I started marking the maps at the beginning of the year," I explained. "I planned to use it for something else. But I guess it turned out in my favor to discover the place."

"From the beginning of the year?" Kushida widened her eyes. "But... Why would you need to know where the cameras are in the buildings?" She asked.

"To memorize it, obviously. Besides, it would help me know when I have to be careful about what I do. You never know when someone might attack you out of nowhere and then accuse you."

At first, I didn't have many plans to find the cameras in each building located on campus. The cameras weren't only inside the buildings, but they were also outside the buildings. For example, in the shopping center, there were plenty of cameras on the exterior.

Obviously, I couldn't mark all the cameras that were in the shopping center. Because there were stores I couldn't enter or walk by. There are even places outside the shopping center where students are not allowed to be. Therefore, there are places I can't check to see if there are cameras.

Still, I marked all the places a student could access. The places I marked are all the maps provided by the school, but there are certain places where I couldn't find maps for certain buildings. So, I had to sketch those places and then mark the areas where the maps are located.

It took a lot of my precious time, but in the end, it was worth marking all the places.

"But still, there are several places where a trap could be set. For example, behind the dormitories," Kushida asked while pointing to the area on the map.

"That's right. But the dormitories are a pretty busy place, some students go behind the buildings to talk or confess," I pointed out. "The trap wouldn't work if there was a witness to everything. That's why, what would be the perfect place among all the maps?" I asked her.

"Hmm," Kushida looked at the maps before finding the map of the inside of the special building. "From the third floor to the top of the special building, there are no cameras. Also, students don't like going because of the excessive heat in that place."

"That's right. It's one of the least crowded places, or you could say no one visits them. Also, the special building is close to the gym."

"Eh? I don't understand."

"You see, the best time to set the trap for someone like Sudō, who has club practice, would be when fewer people are wandering near the special building. Because the lower floors are still used by some students. So, I think the best time to set a trap for a student who is enrolled in a club would be when their club practices end," I explained as I settled into the chair in my room.

I put the chair upside down and I put my arms on the back of the chair.

"Because when you're in a sports club and you finish practice, you'll be exhausted or at least wanting to rest. That's why if someone tells you to meet somewhere. You won't think too much about it and will want to finish quickly."

Obviously, it wouldn't work with people you don't know; that would make people wonder why you want to meet in such a place. But as Kondō and Komiya are known to Sudō because they are in the same basketball club, you would give them the benefit of the doubt. Unless you have a personality like Horikita's or similar and you wouldn't care at all what they want to tell you. But as we were talking about Sudō, then we would know that he wouldn't bother to think too much, even if he realized they might be planning something against him. He wouldn't back down.

Kushida didn't say anything but instead looked at my bandaged leg. Obviously, Kushida noticed it quickly and asked me about it. I told her I would explain how it happened, but after I explained what I needed the recordings for.

I sighed. "I already told you I'm fine, Kushida. My leg will heal soon. So there's nothing to worry about," I reassured her.

"That's not... you know, you should have asked me for more help than just recording the conversation," Kushida shook her head. "I was pretty confused about what was going on. But I think I could understand what you were trying to do. You provoked them using the plan that Class C created, against them. But was there a better way to solve the problem without getting hurt?"

She's right. There are other options; I could have recorded Sudō's fight with Class C students. But in the end, Sudō was the one who hit them, so he would receive a punishment. That would affect Sudō's chances of being a starter, and the only way to avoid it would be for them to withdraw the complaint.

But since I knew the Class C students would be afraid of being expelled for lying to the school, I could use that to blackmail them and get private points. I could use Horikita's favor so she could get the points and then give them to me. Making the Class C students think it was Horikita's idea.

But in the end, I would get too involved just to earn some damn private points.

Another option would be to completely avoid Sudō's case, but that would alter the timeline, and Ryūen probably wouldn't give up after a failed attempt and try to attack another student in our class. It's an option where I wouldn't hurt my leg, but our class wouldn't gain anything.

In the end, my option is better; it would force Class C to sign a contract to erase the evidence I have recorded against them.

"I didn't plan on hurting myself. It was a miscalculation. It won't happen again. So, sorry for making you worry," I said.

"Fine, but you better let me know next time you do something stupid in your plan. Otherwise, I'll smack you for making me worry," Kushida replied.

"Okay, okay. I get it. Alright?" I raised my hands in surrender before putting them back on the backrest again. "So, continuing. Once I knew who the target was and figured out where they would set the trap and what time would be best to execute it. I only needed to know When. So, to find out, I approached Sudō."

"So that's why you asked me to find out where Sudō-kun does physical training, apart from the gym, right? So you could get close and watch him," Kushida replied.

That's right. Once I found out that Sudō had enrolled in the school gym, I enrolled so I could get close. At first, it was difficult, but we gradually recognized each other as we did our own exercises.

Then I asked him about the club and if he had friends. But I didn't do all this to find out when they would set the trap because I already knew from the novel. The reason for getting close to Sudō was so that he would at least believe in the confession letter I was giving him to keep him away from the trap Class C had set for him.

"Yes. Once I knew which day they would set the trap for Sudō, I just had to keep him away from the place," I said.

"And the only reason that occurred to you was a confession letter?" Kushida asked amusingly.

"At least it worked," I complained, pouting, which made Kushida laugh.

I approached Inogashira to help me make the confession letter. For some reason, Inogashira panicked, but after I explained that it was to help a "friend," I managed to calm her down and she gladly agreed to help me. Indeed, the letter Inogashira made was quite believable and quite imaginative with the contents inside the letter.

"By the way, Nakatomi-kun, when I was recording what you were saying, I heard you were going to show a cell phone to show that we weren't recording or something like that. So, how did you manage to make them believe you when your cell phone was on call with mine?" Kushida tilted her head as she asked me.

When I left class today, I told Matsushita to meet me because I needed to talk to her about class matters. Then I explained that I needed her cell phone for a few moments. Matsushita asked me what I needed it for, I had to explain about our class's attack and that I needed it to prevent it.

But I only needed Matsushita's phone to fool the Class C students into thinking we weren't getting any evidence and that only our leader wanted to show who was superior. Fortunately, they believed me and didn't think I could have another phone with me.

"Well, I borrowed a friend's cell phone," I shrugged.

"Did he lend it to you? If so, whose phone was it? Hirata-kun's?" Kushida asked.

"Yes, I borrowed it. But I didn't check anything, I just needed it to make them believe my lie," I said, dodging the question.

Kushida narrowed her eyes, but in the end, she didn't say anything and sighed.

"By the way, does it hurt?" Kushida asked with concern as she pointed to my bandaged leg.

"I won't lie to you. Yes, it hurts, but it's something I can bear. Besides, they gave me painkillers just in case. So, don't worry. I just shouldn't exert myself too much," I said.

"Alright. If you say so," Kushida was silent for a few minutes before speaking again. "What are you going to do with the evidence you've obtained? You could practically report it to the school."

"Well, first, I want to see what moves Class C makes once they find out their plan failed. So, for now, I have no intention of reporting it to the school. But anyway, let's put aside class issues. So, shall we begin?"

"Oh, yes," Kushida smirked before sharing some of her frustrations, but they were much fewer than usual and much less aggressive with her punches, on the small gloves I bought.

I raised an eyebrow as I gave her a cautious look, expecting many more frustrations. But she didn't continue; it seemed she was done.

"What's with that look?" Kushida asked me.

"Ah... It's just that... Well, you seem to have had a lot fewer frustrations lately," I replied as I took off the gloves from my hands before tossing them on the desk. Fortunately, they landed on my desk.

"Oh, that? Hmm, I don't know. I've been feeling a lot better lately. I'm sure a big part of it is because of you, Nakatomi-kun. Having someone... with whom I can share my deepest thoughts. It's much more exciting than I expected."

"Oh~ Really?" I asked teasingly.

"Yes!" Kushida nodded as she smiled at me.

"Well, if it's so effective. I guess I want to share some of my frustrations with you. Can I?"

Kushida perked up and looked at me.

It was startling.

Kushida's smile was quite wide, but I couldn't detect any hint of deceit in that smile. Yet, I involuntarily shuddered.

Nevertheless, I took a deep breath and prepared to tell her my frustrations.

And so I did.

But my frustrations were more about life in general than about people. Still, there were some people in our classroom who were pretty stupid and foolish, so I told Kushida how stupid and funny some things some of my classmates said seemed, but nothing that could be offensive if that person were to hear it.

However, I wasn't sure if it counted as frustration or complaint. I told her about games that seemed very difficult to pass and that I had to try more than 100 times just to beat a damn level.

Kushida sometimes rolled her eyes with amusement while sighing in exasperation. Then we talked a bit more before I invited her to dinner in my dorm room.

We didn't do much more before Kushida left my room, telling me to be careful with my injured leg and not to do anything stupid. Well, she didn't say it with that expression, but from her tone, I felt like she was saying it that way.

------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, with the C-Class.

"So, are you telling me that my plan to attack the defects in Class D failed?" Ryūen asked his subordinates in a serious tone.

"Y-yes. Someone from Class D found out. We still don't know the name of the person who arrived at the special building, but he told us that someone had sent him," Ishizaki quickly responded nervously, glancing at Albert.

Ryūen took a sip of his soda as he pondered what he had been told. "Alright. I'll find out who this person is. Describe him to me."

"He was tall. He has light blue hair, with red eyes. Despite his appearance, he's quite fast and agile," Ishizaki replied.

"Are you absolutely sure he didn't have any way of obtaining evidence while the fight broke out between you and this person?" Ryūen asked.

Ryūen was quite surprised when he found out that someone had seen through his plan to attack Class C. Apparently, instead of the defective ape from Class D reaching the special building, someone else had arrived in his place.

This person from Class D had said that their leader, or rather the person described as her, had been watching their class because she knew they were going to attack her class.

It goes without saying that the person she had sent was much faster than his subordinates. And now they could be in trouble because the idiot Komiya had thrown him down the stairs. He was lucky he hadn't killed that person or he would make Komiya suffer before they arrested him for being an idiot.

"Yes. He wasn't recording our conversation, he showed us his cell phone himself," Ishizaki replied.

Ryūen rolled his eyes at the idiocy.

"Did you make sure he didn't have another cell phone with him? Or maybe he could have had a hidden microphone in his shirt. Did you make sure they didn't have them when you dropped him down the stairs?"

Ryūen knew the enemy didn't just come to boast that they were superior to Class C. They had to have a countermeasure, if not, then she was just an arrogant idiot. He liked to crush that kind of people.

"I... didn't. We panicked. We just checked that he wasn't dead and left," Ishizaki paled.

"Hey! Albert, get him out of here and you know what to do," Ryūen ordered.

"Yes, Boss," Albert said before grabbing a trembling Ishizaki to take him somewhere who knows where.

"Interesting," Ryūen smiled with excitement as he took another sip of his drink.

Ryūen knew his subordinates messed up big time and his class was in trouble. So for now, he would just wait a few days to see what moves his enemies made.
