Ding Ding, brimming with excitement, presented the notebook to Louis: "Daddy, I found the treasure."
"Treasure?"
Louis took the notebook with a full smile on his face.
After only a few pages, just as Claudia Ross predicted, his face turned as dark as thunder.
He quickly closed the notebook, took a deep breath, and forced his emotions to calm down.
"Why did you take away all the books and writing materials from my room?"
Claudia Ross asked angrily. In a place with neither internet nor TV, books and writing materials could at least pass the time. Now that these things were gone, was she supposed to spend the days in reflection?
Louis looked at her coldly: "Do you still want to make paper airplanes?"
Claudia Ross's heart tightened; he actually knew she had made paper airplanes.
No wonder the metal net on the balcony was so finely meshed, it wasn't just to prevent her from jumping off.
