After finishing the class and entering the final review stage, Claudia Ross had a few more exams to invigilate. Once she graded the papers and uploaded the scores, this semester was completely over.
Last night left exhausted by Wyatt Perry, she slept until noon.
After washing, she went downstairs, and the kitchen was already preparing lunch.
She heard laughter from the yard, walked over casually, and saw two elderly people and two children having a picnic on the lawn with a picnic mat.
Getting closer, she saw plates with dried fruits, pastries, and cookies, with juice on the side.
It looked like a proper setup.
Little An and Esmee Perry saw Claudia Ross and ran towards her quickly, "Mommy, Mommy..."
Claudia Ross shouted, "Esmee, don't run, don't run, walk slowly."
Esmee Perry only slowed down then, as she always forgot that her leg had just healed and couldn't bear intense activity.
