Esmee's mom murmured quietly: "Oh, maybe I'm just too tired!"

"Mom, you care so much about Dad. If he knew, he'd definitely be very happy."

Claudia Ross carried burdens in her heart, yet she still joked and laughed in front of Esmee's mom as usual, though her smile held a trace of bitterness.

Esmee's mom frowned: "You mustn't tell your dad."

Claudia said: "Mom, stop worrying. Dad said he'd pick you up when he returns from Africa, so just go with him to the Capital without concern. Stop thinking about my mom's affairs."

Esmee's mom bowed her head in silence, and walked to the balcony, where she saw Ursula Solomon playing joyfully with two children in the distance.

Tabby Teller had been very busy every day and didn't have much time to take care of Ursula.

In Rivile City, with Esmee and little Anne keeping her company, she might be happier.
