Mark Reed drove the car into the shopping center and said to the silently sitting Valentine Teller, "For the first meeting, I should give a gift. You help me choose."

Valentine Teller glared at him annoyedly, "So annoying."
Mark Reed shrugged innocently, and his eyes looked at her warmly, lacking coldness and full of warmth, "Put in some effort, and I'll treat you to something good to eat later."
"Eat, eat, eat. Can't you talk about anything other than eating? There's no ambition!"
As if she's only interested in eating.
He wasn't annoyed, and calmly said, "What kind of words would you expect with certain people? If I discussed cross-border corporate financing and mergers with you, I don't know if you would understand. Or about the current national financial situation; I wonder what you could say?"
He's openly looking down on her. Does he truly think her brain is just for decoration?
