In the middle of the wallet was a photo of a young woman holding a boy who appeared to be around two years old.
Who are these two people?
Could it be that Mark Reed was married?
Is this a photo of his wife and son?
Thinking this way made Valentine Teller feel uncomfortable.
After paying the bill and returning to the private room, she tossed the wallet back to Mark Reed and turned to leave.
Mark Reed quickly caught up with her and handed the bracelet they bought together to her: "This is for you."
"I don't want it."
Valentine gave him a cold glance and continued walking forward.
"If you don't want it, then forget it."
At a corner downstairs from the restaurant, there was a trash bin. Mark Reed casually tossed the bracelet along with its packaging onto the trash bin lid and walked away indifferently.
