Chapter 1498 - Chapter 1501: Treating Her Like a Servant

Valentine Teller really regretted her moment of soft-heartedness in getting on the ambulance.

If she had known earlier, she would've just put Mark Reed in the car and left. By now, she'd be comfortably sleeping.

Before she could even take off her shoes and get in bed, Mark Reed spoke up again: "I'm hungry, go make me something to eat."

Valentine Teller turned her back on him, making a frustrated face, and sighed deeply. Fine, she thought, just consider it practicing kindness like Claudia Ross!

Without giving him a second glance, Valentine Teller left the hospital room to find a nurse, unsure if the hospital still offered food at this hour.

The nurse shook her head repeatedly: "The cafeteria stopped serving at seven. If the patient is hungry, you can go to the supermarket outside and buy something to cook. Each single-room has a kitchen and basic cookware."

"Oh!" Valentine Teller replied helplessly, turning back to the hospital room to get her wallet.
