"Oh? Really?" He still didn't believe it, fixedly staring at her face.
Facing his gaze, Valentine's heart would tremble slightly.
She hurriedly turned her face away, looking towards the door, eager to leave and to notify the lead teacher that she wouldn't be interning at the Reeds, but at another company.
"Believe what you want, that's how I got in here, Mr. President, I won't disturb you any longer."
Valentine spoke as she quickly headed towards the door but was grabbed tightly by the wrist, unable to shake him off.
"Who told you to leave?" Mark Reed coldly blocked her path, his large hand firmly grasping her wrist.
"Sir, please let go. It wouldn't be good for either of us if someone saw."
Valentine struggled to push his hand away, but the more tightly he held her, the harder it was to do so. Her wrist was reddened from his grip.
He chuckled indifferently, as if it wouldn't matter if someone saw. Since he liked her, he had no intention of letting go easily.
