"Really, you'll promise anything?" Nana Monty asked earnestly.
"Yes, as long as it's something I can do, I'll do it for you, except for dying." Not wanting to be looked down upon by Nana Monty, Jayden Maguire quickly explained, "It's not that I'm afraid of dying, but I don't want our baby to be without a father. He's still so small and needs a father's love."
Nana Monty sneered, "I wouldn't ask you to die, it wouldn't benefit me at all."
"Then tell me, what do you want me to do?" Jayden Maguire felt delighted inside; he knew it, Nana Monty was easy to soften, and his efforts last night weren't in vain.
Nana Monty put on a stern face and said, "I don't want to see you. Get lost, and don't ever appear in front of me again!"
"That won't do." Jayden Maguire flatly refused, "I need to take care of you and our son. Nana, please don't be angry. I was wrong, isn't that enough?"
