Jayden Maguire leaned against the sink with one hand, holding Nana Monty with the other, raising his eyebrows suggestively, "Wifey..."
"I'm okay!"
Nana Monty, exhausted and weak, lazily rinsed her body.
She said weakly, "Stop it, let's not... What if your shin bone fractures again?"
"It won't, I know my own body... Ouch..."
Before Jayden finished speaking, he sucked in a sharp breath, his expression twisting instantly.
"What's wrong?"
Jayden, biting back the intense pain, calmly said, "It's nothing."
"You say it's nothing, but your face is as pale as a ghost. Let go of me, let's go to the hospital! I told you your body hasn't fully healed, and now look what happened! Serves you right!"
Nana scolded Jayden while she wiped his body with a towel, then helped him hobble out of the bathroom.
After getting checked at the hospital, they found that Jayden's healing shin bone had a fracture, and it needed to be set in a cast.
