The two men took a while to realize Valentine Teller was talking about them.
Faces turned from pale to furious.
"We're nothing like what you said, you're talking nonsense." One man raised his fist, ready to hit Valentine Teller.
Mark Reed caught his hand, using the advantage of his height, effortlessly lifting him up.
"True, what I say doesn't matter, we should ask everyone." Valentine Teller smiled and asked the crowd watching the commotion, "Everyone, do you think these two are the kind of people who waste food?"
"Yes!" The crowd, observing the scene, replied in unison, reaching a high consensus.
"See, it's not me wronging you, but that you are just like that." Valentine Teller covered her mouth with a light laugh, pulling on Mark Reed's sleeve, "Let's go!"
Mark Reed casually tossed the man aside, then held Valentine Teller's hand and left.
…
After completing the discharge paperwork and returning home, Valentine Teller seemed in good spirits, dancing with Mark Reed.
