"Ugh..." Awakening from unconsciousness, Mark Reed moved his body; his hands and feet were tightly bound, and opening his eyes, he could see nothing.
Where is he now?
Mark Reed's eyes were covered with a black cloth and his mouth was taped shut, leaving only his nostrils for breathing; he wanted to speak but could only make "mmm mmm" sounds.
"Awake, huh?" A hoarse voice reached his ears, and Mark Reed immediately remembered what had happened last night.
He had chased Bernard Bosc up the mountain, but later, for some unknown reason, his movements became slow, and he was unfortunately hit by a rock, rolling down the mountain.
After that, he knew nothing.
"Mmm mmm..." Mark Reed wanted to ask, "Are you Bernard Bosc?"
The man who was supposed to have died in prison.
"Mark, long time no see. You're still the same as before, but I've changed a lot. Maybe if we passed each other on the street, you wouldn't even recognize me."
