"Sigh..." Turstin Muller let out a silent sigh, supporting the frail Valentine Teller back to the outside of the operating room, offering his shoulder for her to lean on: "Close your eyes, don't think about anything. When you open them again, Mark Reed will be right in front of you."
Valentine Teller did not refuse Turstin Muller's kindness and obediently leaned on his shoulder, closing her eyes.
Mark, you must be okay. I'm waiting for you, waiting for you!
The long wait finally came to an end, and the nurse wheeled the unconscious Mark Reed out of the operating room.
His body was wrapped in white bandages, leaving only his eyes, nose, and mouth exposed.
Mark Reed was severely injured. In the doctor's words, it was a blessing to have saved his life; whether he could recover depended on his physical condition.
The doctor also told Valentine Teller that if Mark Reed's injuries healed, he would have to undergo another major surgery. Otherwise, he wouldn't live long.
