"Is it about to start?" Lilith stepped forward, her voice lower than usual.
Wu Heng nodded, his gaze sweeping over everyone before returning to her face, "Everything is ready, we can't delay any longer."
"Is it dangerous?" Lilith asked directly, her fingertips unconsciously clenching.
"Don't worry!" Wu Heng was nervous, but his tone was calm to prevent worrying them, "We have to take this step. Once I figure out the process, it'll be much simpler for you all."
Lilith was silent for a moment, then nodded.
Suddenly, she stepped forward and hugged him tightly in full view of the crowd. Wu Heng cupped her face and kissed her on the lips.
Then, he called over Shanela, Philippa, Mini, Andre Willow... the women of the household came up one by one, receiving instructions for what would follow, and then kissed goodbye.
Once the last person stepped away, Wu Heng gestured for them to keep their distance from the center.
After everyone left.
