A straight line of destruction cut through the Shattered Soul Sanctuary. Walls, homes, and market stalls were destroyed. Everything in its path turned to dust and debris.
The spear and Lei Wuji finally reached the massive city wall.
For a moment, it seemed the ancient dark stone wall would stop the destruction.
Then, with a sound like the earth tearing apart, a massive section of the wall exploded outwards.
The spear, still carrying Lei Wuji, shot out of the city. It was a dark streak under the moonlit sky. It flew straight into a small, lone hill far outside the city limits.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The hill did not just crumble. It erupted. Fire, rock, and hot earth shot high into the air. The shockwave hit the city. It shook the ancient stones and the foundations of Shattered Soul Sanctuary.
