" I don't think we are ever gonna forget this holiday" Derek said
" We won't, it looks like I am having a nightmare and I need to wake up. I can't believe we met with a murderer and I got kidnapped " Melinda said causing them to laugh
" Maybe Kelvin had traveled back home before us and I don't think he is going to be home when we arrive back" Claire said
" Time will heal his wounds, let's just hope he doesn't change from the pain he got" Timmy said
" So what about you guys, have you decided what to do with your pregnancy once you leave this beach today?" Melinda asked Claire and Timmy
" I have decided to keep the baby but I and Timmy are giving each other space to find out what we really want for now" Claire said
" Yes but; I will take full responsibility of the baby when he is born" Timmy responded
" Good for you. Thank you all for coming to help run my family business. If my mum haven't gone to the hospital for treatment, she would be the one saying this. I really appreciate this" Melinda said to them
" We did this from our heart so you don't need to thank us babe. See you again back at school" Derek said
" See you" Claire and Timmy said waving their hands at her
" Love you all" She said blowing kisses at them as they continuously wave at her before heading towards where they had parked their car.

At the Prison
" You have a visitor Mary" One of the correction officer said to her as he unlocked her cell. Mary hesitated because she doesn't want Judith to see her at this state, it will only break her down
" Can we go now miss" The correction officer said
" Yes" she responded leaving with him. When they got to the visiting room. Mary was more than surprised
"Kelvin!" She said really dazed. She almost went back to avoid him.
"You have fifteen minutes" the correction officer said
" Kel...kelvin you shouldn't be here. I never thought you would visit me" she said nervously trying to avoid eye contact with him
" Why shouldn't I? I needed to see how you have been after almost ruining my life and pretending to be who you are not. I am guessing by the injuries on your face that your cellmates are quite interesting and doing that for me" Kelvin said coldly
Mary silently blinked her eye while trying to avoid Kelvin's eye contact.
" You can't talk anymore? I thought you love been dramatic? You were able to fool everyone and despite my friends trying to protect me from you, you shattered their trust too. This is really were you belong" Kelvin Icily said
" I deserve every word you say to me even though it hurt so much to hear it from you. My feelings for you were always real more than you ever know and I never wanted to hurt you ever since the first day I met you at that fuel station" She said sobbing.
Kelvin quickly stare at her looking confused
" Yes, I met you first at the gas station the very day you came here with your friends. Your friends car had a breakdown during your travel so you all decided to push it to the nearest gas station for safety. I was there and you caught my eye first with your jokes and the way you laughed because you were bubbly and different as if you had no worries, I wished I could be free like that. I didn't know that I was driving to a place I would meet you again which kept me dazed and wondering what kind of tricks life was playing at me. I wanted to just observe you from afar and work which didn't work well for me when you approached me. I was disturbed and in fear because I knew who I was and also curious to get to know you better. I just want you to know that I never wanted anything bad to happen to you and your friends, I was just unlucky" She sobbed
" So it didn't occur to you that I will find out sooner or later? You kept everything from me and you would have turned me down knowing that you would ruin my life if we get together " Kelvin said breaking down in tears.
" I am sorry Kel... I am sorry for been selfish. Even if I was asked to time travel back and make us not to happen; I would still want us to be together because I had the best life with you" She said looking at Kelvin
" I hope you have a perfect life and forget about me Kelvin. I will live here with the good memories of you. I will never forget the day I met you. Live a good life with your friends when you get back home" She cried getting up to leave
" You were never unlucky..." Kelvin said with his voice breaking down.
"Because we would never have met if you were" he said again crying.
Mary burst out crying too
" The holiday might had been sad for everyone because of the incident, but to me it was all about you; I had the best time with you" He said still in tears
"Goodbye Mary and a happy new year" He said before leaving the room immediately.
Mary burst out crying loudly why hitting herself
" I am sorry Kelvin, I am sorry Kelvin " She kept on saying to herself in tears as everyone's attention was drawn to her and the correction officers were force to take her away immediately.
Once Kelvin had gotten into his car, he cried deeply. He looked back at the prison house
" I wish you peace and a good home in your next life Mary" He said wiping his tears, with that he drove off.
At night, while everyone were asleep, Mary was awake as she couldn't get any sleep, she has been deep in her own thoughts while looking up. she remembers when she would always argue with her sister that there was nothing good for people like them in this earth
"So you are going to fuck up anyone who fucks you up like you always do so that they can feel how miserable you are?" Judith asked her
"Of course, our life is already fucked up; what else does it need? you can't even get married because you have a messed up person like me and now you are entangled with me and the new messed up drug dealers who is messing up the tiniest bit of our happiness right now" Mary said laughing hard
"What if you meet a good person who would prove you really wrong?" Judith asked
"Shut up Judith, this isn't drama. Look at me; i lost my virginity at eleven years old, i did drugs at the age of fifteen, i am boyfriends with a drug addict whose older brother do drugs, i didn't go to school, i am a bully and i am homeless, who would want to mingle with someone like me?" she asked her
"That's probably true, you can't be fixed, no one can fix you; we are forever going to be stuck together" Judith said laughing out loud.
Mary couldn't stop herself from smiling "I guess life really play tricks on you" she says to herself "I am going to forever cherish our memory Kelvin and prove myself wrong, I can be a better person" she said happily.
