"I won't drink." Ruan Lei shook his head.
He rubbed his tummy, licked his lips, truly thirsty, then lifted his head again and said, "Well then, maybe just a little bit."
Jiaojiao nodded, generously handed over the milk. Ruan Lei opened the bottle, slightly lifted it, and drank in the air. After a couple of sips, he smacked his lips and said to Jiaojiao, "Didn't expect the milk to taste this good."
He always thought this stuff was for little princesses like his sister, so Ruan Lei never touched it before. This was his first taste and unexpectedly, it was quite nice.
"Should Jiaojiao bring some for you in the future?"
"No need, milk is expensive," Ruan Lei shook his head, fully aware that Jiaojiao's milk was all sent by her aunt. Milk isn't widely available yet, not to mention how expensive it is, even the postage cost alone isn't something the average family can afford.
