When they reached the office, the attending physician happened to be doing rounds. The nurse guided them to the doctor's desk and asked them to wait for a moment: "Dr. Ma is doing rounds and should be back in a few minutes."
"Okay, thank you. Don't let us keep you." Shu Jiao smiled in thanks.
The nurse also smiled and sat down on the other side, lowering her head to copy something.
The smile disappeared from Shu Jiao's face, and she calmly observed the doctor's desk. Ruan Jianguo noticed a CT picture on the desk and pointed, "That's Mom's."
Shu Jiao looked over in the direction he pointed. The photo was hung up, but Shu Jiao didn't understand medicine and couldn't make sense of it. She glanced at it a few times, then turned and confusedly asked the nurse next to her, "Miss Nurse, how long does it usually take for your hospital's CT scan results to come out?"
