"She's pregnant with your child and even went out of her way to buy you clothes today. Where could you find a wife like that? You must truly cherish her, understand?"
Ma Yinyin genuinely likes Feng Nianian. She's had only Jiang Xun as her child her whole life, and he was lost for a time in his early years. Although they later reunited and their relationship is harmonious now, there's still a bit of a gap; they're not that close.
Feng Nianian fills that gap, especially since she used to be fond of Jiaojiao. But because of Jiang Bin's situation, the two families have since had no contact.
Feng Nianian somewhat resembles Jiaojiao—obedient, sensible, and filial. Now that she's carrying her grandchild, Ma Yinyin naturally becomes more enamored and genuinely loves her dearly.
As for her son, Jiang Xun, she finds his behavior somewhat hard to tolerate. Clearly, Jiang Yuanlong wasn't the type to be fickle, so she doesn't know whom her son takes after.
