Chi Jingxuan returned to Tinglan Waterside late the next night.
Knowing he was coming back, Qin Yuji stayed in the living room waiting. Upon hearing the sound of the car, she stood up and went to open the door.

She told him to go upstairs to shower and freshen up. Qin Yuji turned on the light and went into the kitchen, took out two pre-cooked dishes from the fridge, and made a bowl of mushroom and chicken noodles.
After Chi Jingxuan finished his bath, he went to the nursery to kiss Yu Yu and Anan. When he reached the dining room, he saw two bowls of noodles, one large and one small, along with two side dishes on the table.
His heart warmed.
