Lava checked his dad record book of the past years and there was nothing suspicious
" There isn't even the record of the incident that had happened at the Aquarium; there got to be another book" he said to himself.
" There is not even a record of it on the CCTV footage, I bet he is hiding it " he said again
He stood upright on his foot thinking hard about where his dad could possibly hide the main record, suddenly his memory flashed back to when he was fifteen, he saw his father moving his bed furniture as if he was looking for something " That looked suspicious, it got to be somewhere inside his room" he said to himself before quickly dashing out of his father's office.

Prince Luca and Prince Obi bowed to each other in respect as they were ready for their duel as tradition.

" But it's going to change because the crown princess is the only heir to this kingdom, according to the second law of our ancestors, the crown princess will follow the first tradition but once the queen steps down of her throne, she will no longer be betrothed to her king as he will be taking another wife who isn't of a royal blood and she shall bore him a heir to his throne.
The queen returns with her own child who would be bound to her own throne and she is forbidden to be with another merman who isn't her betrothed husband. This only changes if they agree to merge the two kingdoms" the woman said again which shocked every siren that doesn't know about the laws and tradition including the two Princes and the Princess.
" I am afraid it might repeat itself. This i law caused the chaos between the queen's mother and Vashi's mother, " king George silently told princess Adunni who was seated close to him
" What happened your majesty?" Princess Adunni curiously asked
" Hundreds of years ago, your grandfather was the heir of Riveria so he was betrothed to your grandmother who was his best friend's daughter. They finally got married and two years later after your mother Ola (queen Riveria) was born, your grandfather visited Oceania and fell in love with another mermaid, the Oceania best warrior and he married her secretly at Oceania before returning back to Riveria without the witness of the sirens.
After some years, a mermaid visited Riveria and met with the king secretly having a little mermaid with her, she claimed it was his daughter. Your grandfather took the baby from her after discovery it was from his secret second wife who had died after giving birth to the baby because she kept bleeding in pain from the cut on her stomach where the baby had come out from after she had delivered the baby herself; he took a huge step in announcing about the baby and took her in after which he named her Vashi. The whole chaos started after that" king George told her
" What happened next?" Princess Adunni asked in curiosity
" Although it was your grandfathers fault, your grandmother hated the Oceania and was disgusted by Vashi's presence, she died of a deadly skin disease earlier and then your father was left to take care of Ola and Vashi but it didn't turn out well because your mother Ola was short-tempered and kept on physically abusing Vashi because she believed your grandfather loved Vashi more and was showing the Sirens of Oceania extreme kindness because of the connection he had with Vashi.
Vashi didn't hold back either because she was tough, they caused a lot of problem for Riveria even when they were adults " king George said again
" That's more like them" princess Adunni told him
"The then great king of Marco's second son "Ken" was to be betrothed to Ola but when he came, he fell for Vashi instead which almost caused a blood shed for Vashi and Ola. At the end; your mother married Prince ken who was your late father the king and my best friend, years after that; your grandfather died making Ola the queen and Prince ken the king.
Years to come you were born, you were the most beautiful thing that ever happened to king ken. After few more years after your birth, No one knew what happened as your mother banished Vashi out of Riveria but Vashi showed up again few years later and the worst thing happened in Riveria which I am sure you were aware of? your father was murdered and Vashi became an outcast " King George told him
" I believe there is more story to it that none of them is telling us" Princess Adunni said
" Yes, merging two kingdoms is a very brutal task for the royalty; there have always been a fight among the Sirens. It's left for you to figure it out in other to put every kingdom at peace." king George said
" But why would my mother also choose Prince Obi as one of the Princes to marry me when her husband is from Marco, it's almost like we are distant brothers" Princess Adunni questioned out of curiosity
" Because Vashi killed the great king of Marco back then, she also killed his son who was an older brother to your father, his barren wife and some of the guards of Marco and even that of Riveria that very night your father died. King Ayata was just an acting king of Marco till his recognition years ago, he used to be the great late king of Marco Advisor and right-hand merman that the people listened to and your mother's longtime friend.
The Sirens of Marco choose him since he was worthy, he promised them to find Vashi; at the point of ambushing Vashi, he lost his only daughter to Vashi during an attack" king George said again
" That's sad" Princess Adunni said as she stared at her mother who was talking to king Ayata " I am very sure she has hand in all of this; only if everyone knew she killed my father and I witnessed it" she said to herself
" You know king George has been talking with your daughter before the two Princes left" King Ayata said
" Let him say whatever he wants to say to her, as long as your son wins this fight; I will blame him for hiding Vashi one of their own and have him killed. I have been waiting for this day to wipe out the Oceania's" The queen said as she stared at king George why waiting for the two princes who had gone to bring the so-called hidden treasure under the forbidden part of the sea.
They must fight their way out of it with one of them coming back with the treasure. It was a very long journey and every Siren must be vigilant and awake to witness everything.

The doorbell rang and Oma quickly dashed out to open the door
" Come in" Oma told lava who was standing there
"I apologize for come this late hour of night, my dad is not around so I figured out it's best to come by and share the information with you both" he said when he had come inside the house
" At least there is no school tomorrow, our last exam paper is next tomorrow and beside it's an honor to have a celeb at my place" she said jumping up
" I am very thrilled to hear that" Lava said.
Oma led him upstairs where Erica was seated on the bed watching drama
" You are watching drama by 11pm; I thought biologist read every day?" he said joining her on the bed
" Humans learn on Tv right? More information on tv" She said
Lava and Oma were lost for a moment.
" She has been here for like a month and am still shocked by whatever she does" Oma told Lava.
" So, what did you find out?" Erica asked him
" There was no record of any incident at the office, but when I got home; I sneaked into my father's room and found a secret opening on the floor under his bed, I opened it; inside of it was a box filled with books and this record book containing unbelievable stuffs was just there" he told them while bringing out a big record book from his school bag.
He opened it for them as they flipped page to page of it.
" Oh my God, over one thousand fishes poisoned, lost and damaged boat, injured workers during fishing, drowned fishermen, bad negotiation and some random names on the record book, this is very bad" Oma said
" Yeah, my father was hiding this and I am starting to think he is involved in black market business especially for the fact that I saw three hidden CCTV camera footage on the box, I recognized two people from it who happens to be my dad's business partners and funny enough, they are missing, then the third guy is who I can't recognize because of his hood and i am guessing it happened last year according to the time and date" Lava said.
He brought out his phone to show them the video he had copied to his phone.
" This CCTV footage was taken from outside the public aquarium, maybe from the mall outside the public aquarium" Oma said
" I figured it out because every CCTV camera inside the aquarium and the one at the fundraiser wasn't working, my dad must be suspecting this unknown person" Lava said
"Guessing from the way he moves, he is professional and good at what he does, he is able to hide from the camera " Oma said
Meanwhile; Erica already recognized the person just by looking at his height and body size from the video, it was the same suspicious man she saw entering a black jeep in front of the house earlier that day.
