The city only slowly calmed after the alarm, with many rumours spreading about what had caused it. Most of them were vaguely accurate, someone had started a public fight that had drawn security, but who exactly it was hadn't been determined.
And that left the options wide open.
There were so many Clans that couldn't stand each other that it could have been hundreds of different groups, targeting one another.
But the one thing that was clear was that it hadn't been targeting the Darklight Host.
However, nobody was brave enough to outright ask the few Guild members that they saw, and most of them didn't know the full answer either.
Only that there had been an incident, and it didn't involve the Guild.
The interrogations weren't public information, even for the Guild members. Not that it was something that Karl was actively hiding, but because it wasn't the sort of thing that everyone needed the exact details to.
