Inside the Heartspire, the air was cold and heavy with silence, broken only by the faint hum of hovering mana-runed panels overhead. The entire Sorting Hall resembled a cathedral built for giants—vaulted ceilings, stone pillars spiraling with glowing veins, and between them, a thousand students seated in graded rows, all facing the center ring.

Each new student was summoned forward, one by one, to stand in the circle as their soulprint, gene-type, and mana response were projected overhead in glowing symbols for all to see.
