"See, let me tell you something, though." Adeline dropped her hands on her shoulder, patting her. "I honestly wouldn't bother if you were throwing yourself at him, and you know why?"
She leaned in and whispered into her ears, "Caesar doesn't want you and he never will. If you knew how obsessed with me he is, then you'd know you don't stand a chance. I can guarantee you that you are like a speck of dust he dusts off his suit."

"I'm a stain that stays forever, but even still, he won't give up the suit because he loves that stain. It makes his suit so much better looking, he could never get enough." She shrugged, exhaling with a smile. "But of course, you can give him a try, however, I'm not really patient enough to see you do it.
