"He hasn't left his manor yet. Has still refused to step out," Yari said.
Roman shook his head, but didn't make any comment.
Caesar asked, "Has he been eating well though?"
Yari held a conflicted look. "That's the problem, sir."
That grabbed Roman's attention and he turned his head with an arched brow. "What do you mean?"
Yair swallowed. "He hasn't been eating well at all. I could deliver his meal and he wouldn't touch it. He doesn't yell or even trash at me. He just sits idly, and I find it concerning. He wouldn't speak, I haven't heard him do so."
That caused Caesar to frown. He ran his fingers through his hair. What could have caused the old man to behave this way? Fights were there, they hated each other, he lost miserably, but his father he knew would never lock himself up and turn into this.
What was going on with him?
Nodding it, he dismissed Yari.
The girl left, shutting the door. He looked at his older brother. "Roman."
