Hera didn't have much to worry about; her grandfather had her back. Silvia, on the other hand, might soon have to start packing: her role as a stand-in was coming to an end. Had Silvia kept quiet and behaved, she might have been allowed to remain a placeholder while Hera strengthened her position in the business world.
But by provoking Hera and making herself a continuing problem, she'd forced Hera's hand. It was far better to deal with Silvia now than to let her linger and cause trouble again and again; doing so would only bring Hera more headaches down the line.
