Chapter 132 - The Beginning IX - Birth of the Elemental Emperor

He Fan didn't take him as his student; instead, he groomed him from behind the scenes.

The reason he selected Wu Yuan was because of his talent.

Intelligence was something that would improve with cultivation anyway, but cultivation talent was far more important.

The reason He Fan was grooming Wu Yuan carried significant weight.

He had already figured out that the Saturation Point was not that far in the future. According to his calculations, it was only 50,000 years away.

However, he knew that due to the Law of Unpredictability, this value would fluctuate. Thus, in his calculations, it fell somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 years when considering the impact of that law.

He wanted Wu Yuan to occupy the attention of Immortals, and for that reason, he was grooming him to be the next emperor.

Unfortunately, his lifespan was nearing its end.

Before he died, he had already collected all four Orders.

He gave all the Orders to Wu Yuan with a hidden identity, just before his "disappearance" from the world.

Wu Yuan had already reached peak Rank 8, and his intelligence had grown to the peak of the world.

Looking at the stranger in front of him, he asked calmly, "So, it was you who groomed me? Why did you do it? Mr. Renascene?"

He Fan wasn't surprised that Wu Yuan could see through his disguise. He had helped him so many times from behind the scenes, and only a fool wouldn't notice anything amiss.

He Fan smiled. "Paths that are meant to cross will eventually find each other, no matter how many lifetimes lie between them. We will meet again."

Saying that, he disappeared.

Looking at the little box, Wu Yuan opened it.

There wasn't any interference from Immortals, since He Fan's influence was still present.

He easily opened it and looked at the contents. There were four strange tokens, each with a different symbol.

He didn't understand what they were and tried to take them out.

The moment he touched them, they all shone brightly.

At that instant, he was forcefully dragged into a strange space.

It was vast and filled with a foggy atmosphere.

He couldn't see what was in front of him.

He opened his mouth, then closed it. He didn't know what was happening.

He looked around and suddenly noticed a giant shadow through the fog.

He asked nervously, "Who are you?"

The shadow glanced at the young man and said calmly, "Don't make that face. Do you think I can't see through your acting?"

Wu Yuan, whose face had been filled with innocence, suddenly changed. His eyes narrowed and his gaze sharpened as he spoke lightly, "So, it was you who created the existence of the Timeless Demon Emperor and the Soul Emperor?"

The shadow laughed. "Impressive."

Wu Yuan had already heard the rumors of the Four Orders spread by He Fan; it wasn't hard for him to connect the dots.

Since the Four Orders could help someone become an Emperor, and they could open the Grand Inheritance of Ascendance, and since he had entered this space through their activation, everything made sense.

He asked slowly, "So, was it all your plan? Did you bring me here?"

The shadow nodded in appreciation.

The shadow said lightly, "He Fan is the means I used to get you here. Unfortunately, I don't have the complete memory of the Timeless Demon God. Most of his memories are present in the 'true' Inheritance."

Wu Yuan asked lightly, "How do I get the real Inheritance?"

The shadow smiled faintly. "Why don't you think about it yourself?"

Saying that, he entered Wu Yuan. He spoke faintly, "This is the 'gift' I prepared for you."

At that moment, Wu Yuan felt an immense flow of information entering his mind. Even though it was only a small portion of the Timeless Demon God's memories, it was worth hundreds of millions of years. Wu Yuan processed everything in a few moments, and his entire temperament changed.

His gaze became sharp as he narrowed his eyes. "So that's how it is."

Creators, Angels, the Saturation Point—countless pieces of information appeared in his mind.

Wu Yuan sorted out the key points.

Everything was related to the Saturation Point. He also inherited the schemes of the Timeless Demon God.

It was a three-way plan of the Timeless Demon God—Immortals—Creator.

Everything involved the future Wanderer, who would appear just before the Saturation Point.

The Immortals' plan was to develop the Wanderer to the peak of Rank 8, so that the Heavenly Dao fragment inside him became the least associated with him. The higher the Wanderer's cultivation, the weaker the connection between him and the fragment.

At the same time, during the ascension from Warrior to Immortal, if the Wanderer managed to refine this Heavenly Dao fragment, he could exponentially increase his cultivation, passing various major hurdles.

Immortals also wanted to refine this Heavenly Dao fragment to enhance their own cultivation.

It had to be noted that Immortals had no information about the appearance of Wanderers, so they had made no plans regarding them until now.

This gave Wu Yuan far more flexibility in his own schemes. He could prepare everything in advance—before the Immortals moved.

The key information was the "specialty" of the future Wanderer.

If it were an ordinary Wanderer, Immortals wouldn't be attracted. But the Wanderer who would soon appear possessed an incomplete Special Ability. His Heavenly Dao fragment had not fully evolved and was still in raw form. This created a fatal temptation. The greed in their hearts would exceed their rationality.

If it had fully formed into a Special Ability, it would have forged a perfect connection with Li Gang, and they would never dare show greed.

It should be noted that Immortals had absolute control over the entire world. The moment a Wanderer was born, they could identify him and immediately begin preparations.

To obtain the Heavenly Dao fragment, they had to refine a pill.

Wu Yuan murmured faintly, "Everything is interconnected."

There were two Refinement Pills, and every scheme revolved around them.

The first was the Dao-Refining Heaven Ascension Pill—a sacred pill that helped Immortals enhance their cultivation by refining fragments of the Heavenly Dao.

The Dao-Refining Heaven Ascension Pill was crafted from a powerful mixture of Moonshadow Lotus Pollen, Azure Spirit Ginseng, Bloodmoon Spider's brain, Blackwood Essence Resin, Silver Dew from the Ninth Peak, Star-Veined Quartz Powder, Windwhisper Bamboo Marrow, Prismatic Phoenix Feather Ash, Jade-Spring Dew Essence, Golden Sunflower Nectar, Night-Blooming Spirit Jasmine, Verdant Dragonleaf Sap, and Lunar Silk Cocoon Threads.

There were thousands of other minor ingredients, but they could be replaced with alternatives. However, these major ingredients were irreplaceable.

To push the pill toward its transcendent function, alchemists needed to add a Heavenly Dao fragment refined into proto-law essence, completing a formula capable of guiding an Immortal safely through the process of refining the Heavenly Dao itself.

But how could they obtain it?

They had to refine the Wanderer himself into the pill. Only then could the Heaven Ascension Pill be created. It was impossible to completely separate the Heavenly Dao fragment from the Warrior.

The second was the Mind-Liberating Sovereign Thought Pill—a rebellious pill designed to resist mind-control, soul bindings, divine sense pressure, and mental enslavement.

This was the pill the Creator wanted to develop in order to escape the Immortals' mental restrictions before ascending to the God Realm.

This pill was crafted from Moonshadow Lotus Pollen, Azure Spirit Ginseng, Bloodmoon Spider's brain, Blackwood Essence Resin, Silver Dew from the Ninth Peak, Star-Veined Quartz Powder, Windwhisper Bamboo Marrow, Prismatic Phoenix Feather Ash, Jade-Spring Dew Essence, Golden Sunflower Nectar, Soul-Anchor Obsidian Rock, Mirror-Mind Dewdrop, Paradox Thought Orchid, Heavenly Lotus petals, and Silent Abyss Mist Essence.

Along with thousands of minor ingredients.

If one looked closely, most of the major ingredients of the two pills were the same.

Night-Blooming Spirit Jasmine, Verdant Dragonleaf Sap, and Lunar Silk Cocoon Threads of the Dao-Refining Heaven Ascension Pill were replaced by Soul-Anchor Obsidian Rock, Mirror-Mind Dewdrop, Paradox Thought Orchid, Heavenly Lotus petals, and Silent Abyss Mist Essence in the Mind-Liberating Sovereign Thought Pill.

The Immortals were planning to refine the Wanderer into the Heaven Ascension Pill. They would pave the Wanderer's path and help him enhance his understanding of alchemy. They had to fatten the pig before slaughtering it.

To do so, through various "coincidences," they would allow the Wanderer to obtain these materials one by one, then force him to refine them.

If the person was too righteous, they would use his righteousness to pressure him into sacrificing himself.

If the person was too vile, they would directly control him.

Their control over vile Warriors was far deeper. The more vile a Warrior was, the tighter the Immortals' grip.

If one fell somewhere in between, they would use both methods.

According to the memories, Wu Yuan understood that there was a necessary ritual—or extraordinary action—required to enter the Real Inheritance.

He had to stop the Creator from consuming the Mind-Liberating Sovereign Thought Pill.

Wu Yuan murmured inwardly, "With the Creator's ability, he can manipulate anyone into refining this pill. To be safe, I must prevent it from appearing at all."

After stopping the Creator, and after the Immortals succeeded in refining the Wanderer, whoever possessed the Four Orders would be brought to the Grand Inheritance of Ascendance.

Was it that easy?

It wasn't. Because the opponent was the Creator.

His intelligence was something even the Timeless Demon God feared.

At the same time, he recovered the memories of a special ritual required before ascension. Just as advancing to the Advanced Stage allows one to perform a ritual to obtain an additional Spiritual Imprint from the Heavenly Dao, there is also a corresponding ritual when breaking through to the Immortal Realm.

However, this time the ritual is fixed:You must inspire awe among the Immortals. The greater the awe—and even despair—you can stir in their hearts, the stronger the divinity you will gain.

Around that time, Wu Yuan felt a sudden surge of energy within him. He understood what it was.

He gladly accepted it and was baptized by it.

The Spiritual Imprint within him began to fluctuate, as the Soul that initially existed on a higher-dimensional plane began moving closer to his body. Its synchronization with his body improved as it nearly manifested into reality. It was still on the higher-dimensional plane, but now infinitely close to his physical form.

The roots of the Spiritual Imprint spread from his Soul and intertwined with his body. It hadn't completely merged yet, but the connection was undeniable.

Yes—Wu Yuan had become the Third True Emperor and the Fourth Emperor of legend.

The Elemental Emperor was thus born.
