On the highest peak, where the air was sharp and cold, Kent stood alone. His cauldron hovered behind him, its dragon etchings faintly aglow, humming with the resonance of a living spirit.
He tilted his head, his voice calm but sharp enough to cut through the silence. "Come out."
The night answered with stillness.
Kent's eyes narrowed, his hand brushing the hilt of his heavenly-sword. He spoke again, louder this time, his tone carrying both challenge and certainty. "You've been following me since the trial ended. Do you think I wouldn't notice? Step out, or I will drag you out."
A ripple distorted the air. Shadows split apart like silk torn by a blade, and the Yellow-Blossom River-Prince emerged. His robes were a deep blue, stitched with golden rivers that seemed to flow with living light. Behind him, a faint phantom of a colossal water serpent coiled, its scales shimmering with qi.
