"Wait, stop," interrupted Bard, unable to hold himself back as he stared at Nero in utter shock. "Are you seriously telling me you want to brute force the training exercise? That… that's a terrible idea. I know you're strong Nero, but even you can't take on nineteen other teams together. These are the cream of the crop, the creme de la creme of Kolar. They won't just stand around and wait for you to defeat them."
Nero did not interrupt, and allowed Bard to express his concerns. Once he was done, Nero looked around at the others to see if they had anything to say, but it seemed that Bard had already covered their concerns.
"I understand what you're getting at," Nero said, his voice completely calm, as if he wasn't the least bit bothered about being interrupted. "Your concerns are valid. But don't misunderstand me either. I have no intention of wasting this exercise stroking my ego or satisfying my vanity.
