|3rd POV|
There is a great meeting between the Noble Houses of Skagos.
Skagos itself is a harsh island where only the hardiest plants grow, and the people on this island rely on fish to survive. However, lately, the snow has gotten even worse than before, and they have started to migrate south.
Because of this, they need to perform a taboo that they despise. The other people outside their land might tell their children that the people of Skagos eat humans because they enjoy it. However, that is far from the truth.
They never enjoy eating with their family, but it is a matter of survival.
Parents who have already passed their prime willingly die in their beds, and their flesh shall become the nutrient for the younger.
They call this a Taboo Sacrifice, for it is a sacrifice and a Taboo Act, nothing more. They will not celebrate it as if it is something they should celebrate, for they know the Gods do not agree with their acts. However, they have six words that comfort them.
There is Sin in Necessity.
These six words are what keep them moving forward because they know the Gods will not help them for what they have done. However, it changes when suddenly all the Wood Elders, the people who are touched by magic and the ones who guide all the sailors to a perfect fishing area, ask them to gather in one place.
Skagos only has seven hundred people, all gathering in a single place, Driftwood Hall.
All the Jarls of Skagos gather in front of the seven Wood Elders, who look at them directly into their souls. After a minute of silence, one of the Wood Elders opens her eyes and says.
"The Gods have spoken to all of us. They give us two paths. The first one is the Path of Self-Reliance. We can continue our way, and in the distant future, our island shall have some sense of stability. However, this path is riddled with danger, as I saw most of the future is nothing but desolate."
Her words make the others look at each other nervously because the Wood Elder confirms their worst fear. However, they snap from their fear-induced panic when the second Wood Elder opens her eyes.
"The second one is the Path of the Golden Dragon. In this path, we shall abandon our island for a decade and thrive under the leadership of a Golden Dragon. He shall take us to a new height where we don't need to perform Taboo Sacrifice to survive the winter."
One of the Jarl, Jarl Stane, looks at her and says.
"And what do we need to do in exchange for that, Elder?"
"Servitude. Our so-called lord is nothing but someone who only wants power. However, the Golden Dragon is different. He sees us as people instead of savages. He sees us as someone worth listening to. In exchange for our loyalty and strength in defending the land he shall grant us, he shall nurture us to the highest height any Skagosi ever experienced."
Jarl Magnar stands up and roars.
"Then we shall offer our fealty! The Wolf is not a lord! He is nothing but a Slave Master who thinks he can chain us with hunger! No more! If this Golden Dragon is truly someone who can save us, then I, Alvor Magnar, shall offer my loyalty and my blade until my dying breath!"
His people roar in agreement, and the others follow suit. Jarl Crowl and Jarl Stane also agree with his words. With them in agreement, the rest of the Wood Elders open their eyes and open their mouths at the same time.
"Then we shall depart the day after the next Half Moon appears in the sky! The Gods shall guide the wind to the Hardhome! There we shall find the Golden Dragon, Our Savior! Treat him like family, and he shall treat us like his own Blood!"

I hum a little and smile when the production of the Wildfire is going smoothly. It has been a month since I arrived in this place, and everything is going smoothly. The farm is already starting, and I only need to wait for people from Celestia or Braavos to arrive here to take care of the farm.
When they arrive, I only need to wait for a few more days, and then I can return to Celestia City.
While waiting for more people to arrive, I look at the windmill that is under construction. While I can directly make bread using the power of Minecraft, the people here cannot do that. That means they need something to grind all the wheat and turn it into flour.
As for cooking, they can use the smoker as an oven to cook bread or any other food without a problem. They just cannot make bread out of thin air like me.
"Your Highness!"
I snap from my thoughts and look to the side. I can see a young man running toward me.
"What is it?"
"There are ships coming here, my lord! They are from the East, my lord! They will arrive here in a few minutes!"
"What?!"
I shout in surprise and call Alduin. When he lands next to me, I pat him on the head and climb him. Without even asking, Melisandre goes along with me, and the two of us fly to the Eastern Outpost.
It does not take us long before we land on the shore near the Eastern Outpost. The soldiers guarding this area ran toward me with their weapons in their hands, ready to fight a potential raider or invader.
I frown a little when I see a weird banner flying on the fleet.
"Whose flags are those?"
I look at Melisandre, who frowns and says.
"I don't know, my lord. This is the first time I've seen those flags."
"Right. At least they raised the flag of Guess Rite. Let's see what they want."
I can see a smaller boat sail toward us and watch three men get off the boat. I open my mouth to say something, but before I can say anything, they kneel in front of me, and one of them says.
"We, the people of Skagos, ask for your mercy and help us, O Golden Dragon!"
What the hell is happening?
