...

"As you can see, I'm also a holder of a copy of the Diary."

Nico Robin smiled and walked up to the two of them.

"This time, I've called you both here because I want to talk about working together. What do you think? Are you interested in forming a coalition with me to look for Arton?"

"With more people on board, we might be able to catch Arton's eye."

Hearing this, Zala raised her eyebrows.

"So that's it. You think Mr. 0 will fail and plan to jump ship with us?"

"But how can you be sure we'd really want to team up with you to look for Arton? Right now, a lot of people have their eyes on Arton."

"For safety's sake, we could just choose to stay far away."

Mikita also nodded.

"Zala's right. Being around Arton is too dangerous; I don't want to die and I don't want to be Arton's woman."

"If I became that guy's woman, he'd definitely make me lick… lick that…"

At that, Mikita's face instantly turned bright red.

Nico Robin chuckled and continued.

"Staying by Arton's side might mean sacrificing some of your charms, but in exchange, you could gain the sort of wealth you never even dreamed possible—wealth. Isn't that the reason you two went out to sea and became agents of Baroque Works in the first place?"

"As for the danger… hehe, in my opinion, Arton's faction might very soon become the safest place to be."

"Whether it's Arton himself as captain or any of his crew, they are all bound to gain powerful abilities."

"And as long as you're willing to go all in, just like Nami, you can grow stronger quickly by earning points."

"You've seen how Nami, Carina, Uta, and Kaya have changed. Don't you find their newfound strength tempting?"

"Even if you're not after strength, surely you want wealth and fame. With enough power, you can earn as much treasure as you want on your own."

"And if you stick with Arton, you will definitely gain recognition."

Hearing Nico Robin's words, Zala and Mikita were visibly moved.

The reason they joined Baroque Works in the first place was in hopes of getting enough money to lead a life of luxury.

And fame—intangible as it is—is something any pirate or outlaw who makes a living by risking their life would crave.

If they weren't yearning for something more, they could have stayed in their hometowns and lived out their days safely, right?

"Z-Zala, what do you think?"

Mikita swallowed hard and looked over at Zala.

She was already swayed by Robin's words. In truth, she'd been tempted by the idea of gaining power from Arton ever since seeing Nami, Carina, and the others turn from fragile girls into seemingly divine beings.

The only thing making her hesitate was how wild Arton's books were when she was cast as the female lead.

Just the thought of staying by Arton's side and possibly being asked to do all kinds of things he drew made Mikita waver.

"Hehe, I'm in."

Zala smiled and nodded.

"Huh, that fast?"

"Weren't you just saying how Arton has too many women around him, and you found that annoying?"

Mikita's eyes widened in surprise.

Zala smirked and said, "Miss All Sunday is right. If there's enough to gain, I don't mind offering up my body. Even if that man has plenty of other women by his side."

"Compared to the value Arton can provide, other women don't matter at all."

"And if I do get together with Arton, he might give me even more power."

As she spoke, Zala removed her hat, glasses, and jacket.

In the next moment, she revealed her wild style: form-fitting jeans and a skimpy top that looked more like lingerie. A towering afro crowned her head. She was every bit the bold, untamed type.

Mikita stared in shock. Suddenly, it all made sense why Robin said Zala wouldn't mind if Arton took liberties with her.

A woman dressed like that was probably perfectly fine with it—provided the payoff was big enough.

"Welcome aboard, Zala."

Nico Robin nodded to her, then turned to Mikita.

Zala also turned, fixing Mikita with a steady gaze.

"W-Why are you both looking at me like that?"

"Fine, I'll join you."

Mikita pouted.

The looks from Zala and Robin made her nervous. She even suspected that if she refused, they'd eliminate her on the spot.

Zala and Robin were both ruthless killers—Mikita was too. She knew the Baroque Works code: disagreeing could easily get you silenced.

That said, a large part of her still wanted wealth, fame, and power.

"In that case, it's settled," Robin said.

"First, let's all use our diary copies to add each other as friends."

"Then we'll set up a group chat."

Smiling, she sent invites to Mikita and Zala.

"Miss All Sunday, you haven't told us why you want to become Arton's partner," Zala asked.

"Is it wealth you're after, or strength?"

"And are you that certain the three of us can get Arton to accept us? I mean, we are his so-called female leads, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll take us on when we meet him, right?"

"Hehe, the more of us there are, the better our chances," Robin replied.

"And besides, it's not just the three of us."

"With a certain someone's help, I'm sure Arton will be interested."

"After all, that person is quite unique."

She smiled. As for her true motive—to research the Poneglyphs—she wasn't about to divulge that to Mikita or Zala.

"A fourth person? Miss All Sunday, who is it?" Mikita asked curiously.

"Nefertari Vivi—no, actually it's Nefertari D. Vivi."

Robin broke into a broad grin.

"W-What?! The princess of Arabasta?"

"You mean that woman Imu has marked?!"

"M-Miss All Sunday, I suddenly want out!"

Mikita stared in shock.

"There's no leaving," Robin said gently. "And there's no need to fret about Vivi's identity."

"After all, Arton is already smack in the middle of the storm. Isn't that right?"

Zala was also astonished. She shook her head and sighed, "You really brought in quite the big name."

"Nefertari D. Vivi, with her unique background, and a copy of the Diary… Arton will almost certainly invite her aboard."

"After all, as a member of the 'D', she shares a common enemy with Arton in the World Government and Imu."

Robin operated her diary copy swiftly. Before long, she'd pulled herself, Vivi, Mikita, and Zala into a group chat.

"Well then, have a nice chat with our brave princess who infiltrated Baroque Works," she said.

"Afterward, I'll bring you all together to meet her."

"Until Arton arrives in the Grand Line, I'll arrange your assignments in areas where we can intercept him."

"After all, if Arton doesn't come in via Reverse Mountain, Vivi might miss her chance to catch him."

Robin's words stunned Mikita so much that the water cup she'd just picked up tumbled from her hand yet again.

Zala was just as dumbfounded, gaping at Nico Robin's smiling face.

Grand Line, near Reverse Mountain.

Vivi was slumped in a chair, staring blankly at the diary copy before her, unconsciously murmuring to herself. It took quite a while before she finally returned to her senses.

"So, my family carries the initial 'D'?"

"We're actually World Nobles… and enemies of the World Government?!"

"This is the true nature of my family?"

"And Father really will die?"

"Even I… I'm going to be hunted down?"

The realization made her feel an overwhelming despair. The threat posed by Imu was far greater than the menace Crocodile presented.

He was the King of the World, after all, a darkness hidden right in the world's brightest place.

From the intel Arton had shared, it was clear that Imu would definitely make a move against her.

Though she didn't know the precise reason, she suspected it had something to do with Nefertari D. Lili.

Which meant there was no room for negotiation.

Imu targeting her, and possibly Arabasta, was unavoidable.

"Damn it… Why does Arabasta have to endure all this?"

"If my father dies… and our citizens are put in jeopardy…"

Vivi slammed her fist on the table, so upset she didn't even notice the blood seeping from her palm.

"No, I can't just despair!"

"As long as I can gain Arton's backing, Father and Arabasta will be fine!"

Vivi thought of the power Arton wielded, how Nami and the others had grown. She couldn't help tightening her fists in renewed determination.

Just then, a message popped up on the Diary copy.

[Nico Robin: Vivi, I've brought in two helpers I think will make it easier to track down Arton.]
