A great many Marines and pirates—also aware of the Diary's taboo—had their eyes glued to the scene, worried in their own ways. The pirates weren't concerned about Hina or Tashigi per se, but rather the possibility they themselves might face Arton's interrogation method one day.
"Heh, you think I'd just tell you everything about this form's ability?" Arton scoffed lightly.
"No need to fret, though. Before I start questioning you, I have questions for our dear World Noble."
Arton turned toward Saint Charlos, whose expression was growing ever more fearful.
