...

"I think, other than me, there's no one else who has the ability to receive it." Nojiko said with a laugh.

"This guy should be a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user, right?" Uta propped her chin up with one hand and spoke.

"He heard our conversation just now. Should we take him out, Captain?" This was Carina's voice.

"W-wait, I don't have any ill intentions, don't say such terrifying things." The big bird walked over with a wide smile on his face.

"This appearance… if I'm not mistaken…" Robin said. "You should be News King Morgans, right?"

"And you should be the Devil's Child, Robin." After giving Robin a once-over from head to toe, Morgans' eyes lit up as he spoke. "The way you look is very different from the photo on your wanted poster."

Robin: "..."

"Should I say, as expected of the king of the news world, to actually recognize Robin's identity so easily." Arton folded his arms over his chest, looking at Morgans with interest as he spoke. "By the way, what are you doing here, Morgans?"

"Arton, I want to do an exclusive interview with you. Is that okay?" Morgans stared straight into Arton's eyes, his gaze burning, as he spoke.

"Let's leave the interview aside for now and talk about this Spring-Spring Fruit first." Arton asked with a smile. "Are you interested in taking it?"

"As long as you accept the interview, I can completely buy it. I guarantee the price will satisfy you!" Morgans looked at the Spring-Spring Fruit with keen interest as he spoke.

Earlier, he had also seen Nojiko create the Spring-Spring Fruit. For this freshly produced Devil Fruit, he was extremely interested.

He even wanted to have one of his own people eat this fruit, to see whether the person who ate it would really gain the Spring-Spring Fruit's ability.

"I see. In that case, it's not like an interview is out of the question." Arton answered.

"Great, then let's start right now." Morgans quickly took out a small notebook, speaking excitedly.

"Hold it—this is an exclusive interview. There should be a fee, right?" Nami stepped in front of Arton and spoke.

"Of course. Just like that Spring-Spring Fruit, I'll pay a price that will definitely satisfy you as well." Morgans nodded without hesitation.

"And what exactly is that price?" Carina also stepped forward and spoke. "Spell out the number first, then we'll talk."

"The Spring-Spring Fruit is an ordinary Paramecia-type Devil Fruit. The market price is one hundred million Berries, but the actual buy-up price is usually higher than the market price." Morgans raised three fingers as he spoke. "For this fruit, I can offer three hundred million Berries."

"Mm, that's fairly reasonable." Carina nodded with a smile. "Not bad. You're not putting on the face of a swindler at all."

"Of course. I'm not a merchant—I'm a newsman." Morgans withdrew his gaze from Carina and refocused all of his attention on Arton.

"Only big news is worth me paying a big price to acquire." Morgans said.

"Spell it out clearly then. The price of the Spring-Spring Fruit is set." Nami stated. "Next, please state the price for the exclusive interview."

"Um, Nami, Carina, is it really appropriate to let him interview us?" Kaya asked worriedly. "Is it really okay to make the matter about the Devil Fruits public?"

Although the fact that Arton could seize Devil Fruits had already become known to other diary-copy holders, it still wasn't something everyone knew.

If Morgans reported this, then literally everyone on the seas would find out.

"It's fine. Arton already looks like he's planning to let him do the interview anyway." Uta waved her hand as she spoke.

"Is that so?" Kaya looked toward Arton.

"Yeah. We're already this famous anyway. Letting this News King do an interview isn't a big deal." Arton spoke casually.

In any case, the whole world already believed his pirate crew had countless Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits. If the matter of Nojiko being able to take Devil Fruits away was made public, it would actually serve to back that up nicely, so people wouldn't think Arton possessed some power beyond Devil Fruits.

That was exactly what Arton wanted to see.

Chapter 408: Morgans: I Will Definitely Report Truthfully

As for whether Nojiko's ability to seize Devil Fruits getting out would bring trouble to the Flameblade Pirates, Arton didn't particularly care.

Anyway, with the way he had already taken out a Celestial Dragon, the world's attention was more than fixed on him.

Since that was the case, he didn't mind drawing a bit more of the world's gaze.

"As for the fee for the exclusive interview, that will have to be determined depending on the situation. If the news Arton provides is explosive enough, then the interview fee will be higher."

"But please rest assured—based on the ability Nojiko has displayed, the minimum I'll offer for this exclusive interview is three hundred million Berries." Morgans once again held up three fingers as he spoke.

"Works for me." Arton gave a slight nod. "It's not convenient here. If you want to interview me, then come to my ship."

After saying that, Arton stepped out toward the door. Seeing this, Morgans naturally followed close behind.

He had flown such a long distance and had finally, truly tracked Arton down. He was already itching to dig some sensational news out of Arton.

Sylvan.

On the deck.

Arton and Morgans sat facing each other at a dining table piled high with all sorts of food.

"You're really too kind, Arton." Morgans glanced over the dishes on the table and said happily. "To actually treat me with such a luxurious spread…"

"Don't get the wrong idea. The only reason there's this much food is because I happened to be about to eat anyway."

"My appetite is huge." Arton put a piece of fish in his mouth and chewed, a look of enjoyment appearing on his face.

"Even so, you didn't refuse to let me join you, did you?" Morgans took a swig of beer and chuckled.

"Captain, this is the last dish." Robin set a plate of food down in front of Arton, smiling as she spoke.

"Mm, thanks for the hard work, Robin."

"Sit down and eat with us." Arton said with a smile.

"No need, I'm not hungry yet~" Robin shook her head. "You two go ahead and eat. If you need anything, you can call me anytime."

Then she quietly took her place standing behind Arton.

Not long ago, Robin had already eaten. Right now, she hadn't received a template from Arton yet.

Her consumption of food wasn't very high, so she didn't need to constantly replenish food the way Arton, Nojiko, or Nami and the others did.

"Please call me anytime as well, Captain." Ain hurried over to Arton's side and set a glass of freshly squeezed juice down next to him.

Then she stepped back to stand level with Robin, staring hard at Robin.

"I really didn't expect that the legendary Devil's Child would not only be here with you but would even treat you like some kind of maid."

"And that Ain, if I remember right, she's a Marine who used to be at Zephyr's side and yet she's also putting on the appearance of a maid."

"Arton, how did you manage to train a female Marine like that?" Morgans sighed in wonder as he looked from Robin to Ain, then spoke.

"You've got the wrong idea about me. Whether it's Robin or Ain, I've never trained either of them." Arton shook his head. "Also, when you write your report, please don't add any unnecessary wording."

Heaven be his witness—whether it was Robin or Ain, they were the ones who voluntarily, proactively acted like this.

It really didn't have all that much to do with Arton himself. If there was some sort of connection, it was probably just that Arton had something the two of them wanted.

"Don't worry about that." Morgans nodded heavily as he spoke. "According to the agreement we made earlier, I will report things truthfully and absolutely will not add fuel to the fire in my article."

"I hope you really do that." Arton took a sip of juice as he spoke. "Otherwise, if you ever want another exclusive interview with me in the future, I won't agree to it."

He hadn't forgotten Morgans' character setting.

This was someone who, for the sake of making big news, wouldn't hesitate to fabricate the facts.

Arton might have agreed to let some things about himself be made public through Morgans, but he absolutely didn't want fake information he didn't approve of being spread.

Even if fake information was going to be made public, it had to be falsehoods that came from his own mouth.

"So that I can keep getting exclusives with you in the future, I think I'll stick to it." Morgans said with a sweaty smile.
