We arrived at an acre of grass field. We were not late, but a lot of people were here already. I scanned the field for anyone I knew, Mindy should be here, but with the amount of people, I couldn't spot her. Still, it wasn't as many as enrolment, only a couple hundred compared to the two thousand.
"I will go and stand off to the side, watch from a distance so you can mingle." Nerissa declared, before walking away before I could reply. I shrugged my shoulders. I wouldn't have minded Nerissa staying close. She was good company after all, but I suppose I could talk with people if they wanted to talk with me.
Orchid and I walked ahead over to the large group in waiting. We stuck to the fringes, Orchid had glued herself to my arm, she was extra clingily after last night's intimacy, not that I minded in the slightest... The way her eyes looked up at me. I felt the urge to blow this off and rush back home.
