Valerica looked up at me curiously for a moment before a soft laugh escaped her lips. "Oh Apollo, I only said that because I knew no one would beat me, I don't have the authority to make anyone a guardian, there is an age requirement anyway. Besides..."
The world spun around me and I suddenly felt a hardness against my back. My arms were held above my head and Valerica was straddling my waist. She looked down at me with a smug smirk and continued.
"You never really had me pinned... Hmmm." Her thoughts seemed to go elsewhere as she looked down at me. "I can see what Kathrine means by how you look handsome from both angles. Hmmm." She hummed and began to inspect me like a novelty prize.
I looked away, my face turning flush, catching Valerica off guard.
