Chapter 107 - HP

It took me nearly the whole month of July to prepare a lesson plan, and submit it along with planned field trips to the Mundane world to help the students be able to familiarize themselves with non-magicals and their technologies.

Meeting the other staff members was an experience, the biggest shock though is Minerva McGonagall might be a witch in her seventies but she looks like a thirty-five year old airbrushed Ruth Connell. Bathsheda Babbling also is a rather attractive woman with dark curly skin and very fair skin with a massive rack. Aurora Sinistra is also a gorgeous dark skinned woman with surprisingly long silky looking black hair and a very voluptuous figure, for that matter Septima is an auburn haired beauty barely out of Hogwarts herself.

When it comes to Snape…I really don't understand if attractiveness was a factor why Lilly didn't go for the man, sure his nose is a little crooked from where someone broke it once, probably James Potter for that matter, but the man looks better than a young Alan Rickman.

Hagrid is massive, like fourteen feet tall and can carry comfortably two full grown cows on his shoulders. The man happily patted me on my back after Dumbledore introduced me to everyone and I was lucky he didn't break my spine.

How Kettleburn the Care for Magical Creatures professor even gets around the castle proper is a secret that eludes me, the man is one of those ancient looking wheelchairs.

Madam Hooch is also shockingly gorgeous, especially her golden hawk-like eyes.

Getting drawn out of my thoughts, "This year is going to be rather…strenuous, for us all. Not only will young Harry Potter be attending Hogwarts this year but my friend and mentor Nicholas Flamel has entrusted me to watch over the creation that gave him his renown…I expect all of you to come up with traps to ensure it's safety…while making them something a first year could solve." Albus says and looks around the room with an expression that says don't question me, I'm your boss.

"Sir, I know I'm new here. But you can't possibly intend to keep a philosopher's stone, here? Surely you can see the risks of doing such a thing…Hogwarts could be turned into a warzone putting the future of the magical community of magical Britain in life threatening danger." My objection brings absolute silence to the meeting room that is located below the Headmaster's office, while my hand twitches towards where my sidearm is concealed on my mid thigh kept undetectable by the qualities I imbued into it.

"I for one agree with Professor Fitzgerald, bringing the Philosopher's stone here into a place of education, where defenseless children live and learn is ludicrous, Albus!" Minerva McGonagall champions but other than my own she seems to be the only voice of reason while Albus just gives her a glare that carries fondness and she slumps in her seat.

"The children won't be defenseless after all we have multiple combat veterans on staff here and Quirinus will be arriving in a few days. On this note though Mr.Fitzgerald I would appreciate it if you would accompany Hagrid to introduce young Mr.Potter to our world and ensure that he is protected during his first foray into our society."

"And I take it Hagrid is to retrieve the stone, while I babysit the Rugrat?" Dumbledore's eyes widen almost imperceptibly.

"Don't give me that look, Dumbledore, I was in a branch of the United States Military moving one high priority target around the area while going for the actual mission goal is just basic tradecraft…Potter is the easy mark, while the stone is in a secure facility." I continue to voice and point to Hagrid.

"And Hagrid over there is a living tank, you're using to secure and transport the stone temporarily and then when Potter and I rejoin Hagrid, you'll have two hitters together along with both priority targets. Potter being the soft target and more likely to be attacked than Hagrid who like I said is a living tank carrying the high priority target somewheres on his large person…I don't know this Potter kid I've heard this nonsense he killed some Dark Lord as a newborn, but I don't buy that shit…to me it seems like you're putting this kid in a whole helluva a lot of danger for nothing." Snape scoffs at me questioning the Headmaster but he can't hide the look of worry for Harry Potter lingering in his eyes. Hagrid is flushed red glaring at me with a dangerous and fanatical look in his eyes, probably from questioning his idol Albus Dumbledore.

I can feel the rest of the eyes at the table lingering on me, Dumbledore's eyes have lost any and all twinkling-sparkle they had at the beginning of this meeting as we begin staring each other down.

"What would you suggest then for keeping both Mr.Potter and the Philosopher's stone safe, Mr.Fitzgerald?" Dumbledore asks me and I rest my chin in the palm of my right hand.

"Given that we are most likely up against amateurs when it comes to performing stealth operations, so it'll be a messy smash and grab…I take it the Stone is currently at Gringotts, too secure for most anyone but the most skilled or those with resources to throw at a problem until it breaks.

That means they'll either try and get the stone during transport or when it's here when there is little to no security…with what nine competent but rusty wizards and witches to guard it? Now if you're trying to bait a trap for someone or an organization make it look like you've retrieved the package from Gringotts, while it remains their safe and sound, I can make a decent fake that'll put off a powerful magic signature that will most likely fool anyone except someone who has actually been in contact with it. Or if you really must move it to here which I want to emphasize is something with too high of a risk to take given what this place is…then you go out in force, give everyone at this table now a decoy, have them move throughout Diagon Alley keeping the attention off of the actual carrier.

Have everyone here hide decoys in locations of their choosing, secure the decoys with whatever methods they deem necessary, but set it up with something that'll temporarily immobilize whoever tries to retrieve the decoy stone, while also sending out an alert, so we can mobilize on the locations that are hit."

"And as for Mr.Potter?"

"Three man team, third operative hidden among the crowd, someone unnoticeable, providing overwatch with two big bruises being the main escorts, escorting the kid everywhere…and I do mean everywhere, he goes nowhere alone…not even what do you folks call it, the loo? If the associates of this Dark Lord want to get revenge for their fallen Master then attacking him during his first soiree into the magical world would send a pretty big message that they're still here and they haven't given up the cause…it'd be a great terror tactic…especially with the way everyone in this country seems to revere the kid, and rally behind his supposed defeat of this Dark Lord who no one seems to speak the name of."

"How long will it take you to create these decoys?" Minerva McGonagall asks me her Scottish accent coming out thick.

"How long will it take you to get me raw cut red gemstones around the size of an average adult woman's hand?" Minerva arches a well manicured dark red eye brow.

"Can they be transfigured?" Minerva asks me and I shake my head no.

"No, they have to be naturally formed…for this to work, I'm sure this castle has everything we need, someone experienced with the castle." I explain and start to take out a cigar but then pause part way through doing so.

"Umm…I haven't really read over the rule book yet, but is smoking aloud on the grounds?" I ask with a sheepish smile on my face.

"Yes, smoking is allowed…but I prefer that it isn't done around students." With that I wave my hand casting a air cleansing charm and deodorizer, for everyone else and light my prepared cigarette using an intense flame created from magic looking like a blow torch coming from my index finger.

Many eyes widened at my display of wordless/wandless magic, "Something wrong?" I ask after exhaling a cloud of smoke, and use the power of my mind to shape the smoke into wolves and dragons, then make the smoke figures fight each other, while arching my right eyebrow before taking a deep drag of my cigar.

Dumbledore lets out a soft laugh, "I believe they are stunned by your display of magic…"

"Really, I mean I know I didn't go to some fancy private school like Hogwarts, but they do teach us plebs at public school as best as they can…even if I don't compare to the rest of you…" I put on my best poker face as I try to make everyone in the room believe that I think they are better at magic than I am.

My words draw an awkward cough out of everyone at the table except Dumbledore who suppresses a snicker.

Minerva McGonagall clears her throat, "I will bring the rubies or other gemstones that you require to your chambers…if that is acceptable." Minerva's near demure offer brings a subtle smirk to my lips.

"I would quite appreciate a visit to my quarters by such a lovely woman such as yourself Minerva." My voice comes out silky smooth with a hint of debonair attitude, that turns the redheads cheeks a bit rosy.

"Anyways if this concludes this teachers meeting I have to get back to putting together a comprehensive history textbook that coincides events with magicals and mundanes…and how the two have intrinsically interacted with each other since time immemorial…then work on math work books, and homeschooling qualifier tests…so the magicals born to non-magic parents can continue their regular education and procure jobs in the Non-magical world." I look to Dumbledore for permission to leave under many curious looks from the other professors.

"You…expect Muggleborn to prefer to return to the muggleworld?" Professor Sprout asks me, with an uncertain expression on her face.

"Well yeah…as far as I can see you Brits like to refer to them as Muggleborn, and half-bloods. They are a rather oppressed minority here in Magical Britain, in the Ministry the only Muggleborn that made it to a high ranking post was assassinated and since then no muggleborn has graduated from an extremely low ranking in the Ministry and don't get be started on the lack of Muggleborn businesses and the lack of jobs hiring muggleborn at Pure-Blood establishments…the only way for Muggleborns to actually eek out a living is in the muggleworld. And unless you have a proper education in the muggleworld it's next to impossible to gain, gainful and meaningful employment in the muggleworld…I intend to give my students the necessary tools to succeed." Almost everyone at the table gains pinched expressions at my words, Dumbledore gives me a nod of approval to leave, rolling my eyes. I stand up from the table and teleport back to my quarters.

Sitting down at my large desk I set to work using the truth finding spell that helps me pick out facts from fiction in the various history textbooks I picked up, while making notes of the fictional parts to make notes for my students to include that information for their Muggle tests.

Just as I'm finishing up with writing a compendium of magical and mundane histories a series of light knocks come from the door, activating the imbued door knocker and connected mirror I see Minerva is outside my door and she's in a rather flattering crimson and gold dress that gives a generous display of her boobs.

'well well well, the lioness... walking into the wolf's den dressed like that...'
