^…That's impossible.^
^Is that… what it means?^
^Attack… Run?^
The Trio of RINs stood frozen, their attention fixed on the decoded message hovering before them.
What they had initially dismissed as meaningless spam had turned out to be something entirely different… a cryptic warning.
The First RIN stared blankly at the message. Her body flickered as layers of translucent data scrolled across her layout.
^That message arrived just moments before the attack… and then we were attacked exactly as it seemed to predict.^
^Was it warning us to run?^
She slowly turned toward the other two RINs. ^But who sent it?^
Neither of them responded immediately.
The three artificial intelligences exchanged glances as countless possibilities emerged and vanished within their processing networks.
Then, the Third RIN abruptly raised her head.
^Wait… if this message was a cryptic warning, does that mean the first spam message we received was also encrypted?^
