Thinking back to the past, An Lan's thoughts seemed to drift away somewhere, so much so that when Huo Zhanting finished his phone call, he saw An Lan staring off into space.
Huo Zhanting called An Lan's name twice, but she didn't snap out of it.
He reached out and gently pinched An Lan's earlobe.
An Lan abruptly lifted her head and raised her hand, ready to push Huo Zhanting's intrusive hand away, only for him to catch it firmly. "Lanlan, what were you thinking about just now? You were so absorbed that you didn't hear me even after I called you several times."
"Ahem." An Lan cleared her throat, her expression a bit awkward. Of course, she couldn't confess to Huo Zhanting that she was jealous over Gu Xi from four or five years ago, so she quickly changed the subject, "I just overheard Zhang Duo calling you; he seemed to mention He Jun. Did he go overseas?"
The guilty look on An Lan's face didn't escape Huo Zhanting's notice.
