Only Lanling's Blazing Demon Banner has just the inner city's cluster of castles.
This castle cluster covers several thousand acres, mostly built of brick and stone, which looks appealing but isn't at all grand or imposing. Furthermore, it's not located on a mountaintop, completely mismatching Lanling's status as the Blazing Demon Banner-Master, let alone as the future emperor of Flame Demon Empire.
Therefore, constructing the Flame Demon Palace was put on the agenda.
The preliminary design was by Yin Ji, with modifications by Lanling, embellishments by Mirror Demon King, and final revisions after Sha Yan's complete allegiance.
After the improvements, Princess Sha Yan was still unsatisfied, so she took the blueprint to find the Little Rakshasa King.
