The sensation of cutting fat and muscle is remarkably different.
If the knife is sharp, cutting muscle provides a quick, clean feeling, not hard at all. The muscles of a drug-fueled fitness champion have a similar texture. With a swift stroke of a fast knife, it's just like slicing through A4 paper, only the body reacts after the cut is complete.
However, a quick knife does not cut fat the same way. Fat is greasy or sticky; even with a sharp knife, the fat clings to both sides, sticking the blade and making it harder to cut through, requiring more force.
While the surgical knife is thin and sharp, one cannot use brute force, as it might break, not only causing injury but also disrupting the forensic results.
