The next day was spent in the library tower, where Zarqa's friends spent hours discussing the girl's journey from there on, based on the information Jafar was able to gather so far.
Arslan and Wael were not included in the meeting, though the latter was curious and suspicious of it.
Arslan, for his part, said that he trusted Zarqa and her friends and went about dealing with his paperwork.
Wael disagreed, and under the pretense of his duty as a knight and a guard, he attempted to overhear them from behind the doors. But it was all in vain as Shula had taken it upon herself to prevent sound from traveling that far.
All he knew was that, by the time the doors opened and everybody came out, Sindbad was not pleased at all. Neither for that matter were any of the adults, but Sindbad in particular was fuming.
