I once had a dream, believing I could live happily, but in the end, reality proved I had no way of being truly happy.
The whole family ate happily here, never thinking this day would come so soon, nor expecting it to be filled with so much warmth. They always thought they would never again have a chance to eat a reunion meal with their family in this lifetime. But when this day came, they could hardly believe it was their own family. Despite once making so many mistakes, hurting them again and again, they forgave without holding grudges, allowing them to sit here for breakfast with them. This was a happiness truly unexpected to them.
"Dad, do you know? I've waited for this day for so long. I never thought it would come so quickly. When it came, I could hardly believe it was true. Even now, I feel like I'm just dreaming, because I've dreamt of such a scene countless times. Now that it's happening for real around me, I can hardly believe it.
