"Mom, what's wrong? You look so pale."
Lu Yunxi looked at Yan Ruoxi in confusion. It seemed that her face changed after she mentioned someone was spying on her.
"Huh? It's nothing! I just suddenly felt a bit unwell!"
Yan Ruoxi randomly came up with an excuse; she absolutely couldn't let Lu Yunxi become suspicious about this matter.
"Mom, are you feeling unwell?"
Lu Yunxi immediately became nervous, "Mom, if you're not feeling well, lie down and rest on the bed!"
She stood up to support Yan Ruoxi, "Come on! I'll help you upstairs!"
"Alright!"
Not wanting Lu Yunxi to overthink, Yan Ruoxi went along with her and got up to go upstairs.
At the top of the stairs, they happened to meet Lu Haidong coming out of the study. Seeing Lu Yunxi supporting Yan Ruoxi, he quickly stepped forward and asked, "Ruoxi, what's wrong?"
