"Oh this is SO EXCITING! I can't believe we're fighting against an actual alien robot!" Nora squealed with glee as she prepped Magnhild for battle.

After they had been called up to go against Ghoadry in a sparring match, Team JNPR made for the locker room connecting to the arena to prepare for their battle.

Jaune had finished putting on his armor before grabbing his weapon, the sword and shield Crocea Mors, before his nerves started to make his hands visibly shake.

"Jaune, you ready?" Ren asked, curious about how his leader was faring.

"Wait. Are you okay?" Pyrrha asked as she walked up to him.

"I… I could be better." Jaune admitted. "I never had to fight against an alien robot before. I guess I'm just nervous about what'll happen." He stated before he clutched his hands together, lessening the shaking.

"Don't worry about what Ghoadry can do too much, Jaune. Chorina and Mesin trust her very much. I doubt she'd do anything to hurt any of us." Pyrrha reassured him.

Jaune thought about that for a moment after remembering the general's fight with Mesin. "... Define 'hurt'."

"It'll be okay. If it gets too out of hand, I'm sure Ms. Goodwitch, and General Ironwood and Ozpin will step in." Pyrrha assured the leader of Team JNPR.

"That… is a good point." Jaune said as he calmed down a little.

"Then again, she might have something that could break through our Auras." Pyrrha accidentally said out loud.

"That… is ALSO a good point." Jaune said as his sense of worry was full again.

"Come on, guys! Don't worry too much about it! It's a sparring match, not a fight to the death! Nora hollered with nothing but confidence in her voice.

"Indeed. Despite being a robot, I'm sure of the fact that Ghoadry won't fight us with malicious intent." Ren told him, which earned a smile and nod from Jaune as he looked at him.

"Now wipe those insecurities away and get ready so show Beacon what Team JNPR can do!" Nora said as he held her hammer up.

Jaune heeded her advice and took a deep breath to toss away his nervousness and get into the headspace he needed for the match. "Nora's right. Let's do this!" Jaune said as he pointed his sword to the ceiling.

Ghoadry was lightly kicking the ground while waiting for Team JNPR to make it to the arena, the wheels on her feet spinning lightly with each kicking motion she made.

The viewers of the eventual fight were conversing amongst themselves about what could happen in this match.

"So, this Team JNPR. How skilled are they exactly?"

"They've got Pyrrha on their side, so I doubt that alien robot will have an easy time winning."

"Pyrrha's the Invincible Girl, so I bet they'll crush that alien in this fight."

Ruby was looking around the arena's bleachers as Yang placed a hand on her shoulders. "So, are you ready to see our friends fight Ghoadry?"

"Oh, ummm… Ye-Yeah, I think so." Ruby answered.

"Relax, Ruby. It's only a friendly sparring match. It's not like the end of the world is riding on these matches." Coco joked. "Although, that WOULD be entertaining to watch."

Ruby somehow felt more nervous when she heard that, but put it aside and smiled. "I know that. I just hope that whatever happens, people recognize it's a clean match." She responded.

Blake saw what Ruby meant. "Good point. If it weren't for General Ironwood and Mesin being good sports about their battle, I bet people would still be thinking that Mesin cheated the whole round." She wagered.

Sun spotted Ghoadry's opponents walking into the arena. "Oh hey. There they are." Sun said while pointing to Team JNPR.

All four members of the team bore confident expressions on their faces, earning a cheerful look from Ghoadry's eyes. "My, my. Looks as though you four are ready to rumble. That's great." She said while clapping her metallic hands together.

"Hey! We've gotta be at least as much if we're gonna beat you!" Nora remarked with a playful smirk.

"Well, alright then." Ghoadry said with a nod as Glynda and Chorina stood at attention from the bleachers.

"Ghoadry of the aliens, are you ready?" Glynda asked her. Ghoadry spun around on her leg's wheels before giving Glynda thumbs-up.

"Team JNPR of the humans, are you all ready?" Chorina asked the four of them.

Jaune drew his sword from his sheathe before it unfolded into his shield, with Crocea Mors in his hands… "Ready." He answered.

Nora tossed Magnhild into the air before it unfolded into its hammer form as Nora caught it as Ren spun his StormFlower bladed machine pistols in his hands before pointing them at Ghoadry. Pyrrha meanwhile drew Miló and Akoúo̱ from her back as all three of them said… "Ready."

"Very well then." Chorina nodded to Glynda as she took a step forward.

"The sparring match between Team JNPR and Ghoadry will begin in five, four…" Jaune tightened his grip on his sword. "Three, two…" Ghoadry got into a fighting stance, holding her arms up in front of her chest like a boxer. "One…" Team RWBY looked on as…

BGM - Tie In A Link with ARCUS (The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel)

"Begin!" The match began.

Ghoadry instantly made the first move. Two circular openings on her palms opened up, as she fired a hail of rapid-fire laser bullets at Team JNPR, forcing them to split up into sets of two.

Jaune and Pyrrha held their shields to their left sides to block the oncoming bullets, while Ren managed to outpace the bullets with Nora right behind him.

Nora was slower than Ren was, and the laser bullets were getting close to hitting her as she ran. So taking what chance she had, she turned Magnhild into its grenade launcher form and fired a trio of grenades at Ghoadry.

As she saw the incoming projectiles, Ghoadry looked at them with her eyes. Calculating the angles and trajectory at which they were soaring through the air, she aimed at them with her laser-blasting palms and fired, shooting all three and making them explode in the air.

Ghoadry then turned to face Jaune as he charged at her with a battle cry, his sword at the ready and shield held forward. Ghoadry calculated the angle of his sword and prepared to dodge his swing, only for Jaune to sidestep out of the way of Pyrrha's line of sight, as the red-haired girl took aim at her and fired some shots at her.

These shots weren't carelessly aimed though, as Ghoadry only had a few seconds to spend on dodging them. But careful analysis of where they would've struck her showed that Pyrrha was aiming for the joints on her limbs. 'Clever.' Ghoadry thought to herself as she turned to block an attack from behind.

Ren used his speed to get up behind her, and swung StormFlower at her back, only for Ghoadry to block them both with her arms. Ren pulled his blades back before Ghoadry moved to throw some punches at him. Ren had dodged and parried three of Ghoadry's punches before the wheels on her right foot revved up.

Ren barely had any time to dodge it, but Ghoadry had just swung her foot upward using the momentum her wheels gave her. This made Ren leap backwards twice before firing a barrage of bullets at Ghoadry.

Taking evasive action, Ghoadry used the wheels on her feet to avoid the bullets as she limboed under a sword swing from Jaune, who had gotten in front of her.

Pyrrha and Nora attacked her together at this time, but Ghoadry was ready for them both. Turning to face them both, a trio of laser claws formed on her left arm, before she used those claws to block Miló in its Xiphos form. Then she used her strength and bare right hand to catch Magnhild in her right hand.

Nora and Pyrrha were shocked at how she was able to stop them both. "The hell?" Nora swore at the sight.

"Hehehe." Ghoadry let out a laugh. "Now things are getting pretty interesting. Keep it coming, Team JNPR!" Ghoadry taunts the girls before gripping Miló's blade and Magnhild's handle with her hands before spinning her wheels in opposite directions to spin around.

This resulted in Ghoadry spinning Nora and Pyrrha around for a bit before tossing the both of them away in the same direction, only for Nora to spot Jaune in the way of where she was being thrown. Thinking fast, she dug her feet into the floor before backflipping onto the surface of Jaune's shield, Magnhild's hammerhead planted firmly on the shield with her feet. "You wanna piece of this?!" Nora asked before pulling the trigger on Magnhild, causing an explosion to rocket her forward and upward… And launching Jaune backwards, with Ren moving to catch him. "Then you. Can. HAVE IT!" Nora shouted with a battle cry as she reeled back Magnhild with full intention of hitting Ghoadry.

Calculating what was about to happen as quickly as possible, Ghoadry saw how hard Nora was gonna hit her, her optics widening at the sudden realization of… 'I gotta move. NOW!' She thought to herself before jumping out of the way as fast as she could.

She was able to dodge the strike of Nora's hammer hitting the ground… Only to bear witness to the fact that Nora's hammer had smashed a perfectly circular crater into the floor of the arena… Which in of itself served as a good distraction, as Ghoadry while in midair was soon accosted by a barrage of bullets from Ren and Pyrrha.

Blocking them as best she could before she landed, she swiftly moved her arms and tail as a way to parry as many shots as she could, only for some to inevitably slip past her defenses.

Grunting in pain, she ran a quick diagnostic on herself, and found something that honestly shocked her, only to be dragged into a close-range fight with Jaune as he had swung his sword at her in the moments she seemed to not be moving. 'The joints in my limbs appear to only be operating at 72% capacity. That shouldn't be possible, u. Unless… Pyrrha used Ren's swarm of bullets as a cover so she could snipe at my limbs..-' She thought to herself before activating her arm's energy claws to block and counter Jaune's sword swipes, while he blocked her attacks with his shield. 'These children are… Incredible. To think that they could coordinate so well on such short notice.' Ghoadry commented while blocking a downward swing from Jaune's sword with both her energy claws.

Ghoadry grunted under what pressure Jaune was able to put on her. "I'll admit it. You four are pretty good." Ghoadry said as a compliment to Jaune and his teammates.

Jaune smirked. "Thanks, but that doesn't mean you're gonna throw the fight, are you?" He sarcastically said.

"Well, glad to know you can joke while fighting." Ghoadry firmly planted her feet on the floor, making sure her wheels were on it. "... Now show me what you'veyou got!" She had the wheels on her feet pull her backwards, causing Jaune to lose his balance and falter forward.

This is what Ghoadry wanted to capitalize on, as she halted herself from backing up. She then accelerated right at Jaune, aiming to get a punch in on Jaune's chest, her energy claws retracted to not do any deadly damage.… Only for Pyrrha's shield Akoúo̱ to come flying at her from behind.

Ghoadry dodged the oncoming disc-like shield by moving to the right, only for Jaune to have regained his posture just in time to bounce the shield off his own and knock it into Ghoadry's chest.

Pyrrha caught the shield in her hand as Jaune swung his sword at Ghoadry, scoring a solid hit on her arm. "AH!" Ghoadry cried out as Pyrrha swung her foot at Ghoadry's leg, tripping up the robot alien and landing her on her back.

Jaune soon pointed his sword at her. "Yield." Jaune told her.

"Not yet I will." Ghoadry snarked before revving up the legs' wheels and slamming them on the ground. Causing her to roughly slide along the ground and away from Jaune.

However, this caused her to move into the sights of Ren… Who was directly above her and in the air, before he rained down shots upon her. "What the!?" Ghoadry blocked the shots best as she could be raising her hands above her body, as a set of boosters on her back appeared under her as she readjusted her posture midair.

But felt dread as she saw Ren smirk at her. The sound of a grenade launcher firing shots was hurt as Ghoadry turned to see Nora had fired a duo of grenades at her with a manic grin. "BOMBS AWAY!" Nora declared as Ghoadry didn't have time to counter the on-coming grenades this time.

The grenades hit her dead-on as Ren got knocked back by the blast, only for Jaune to catch him by running up behind, the both of them smiling as Ghoadry tumbled onto the ground. Her body still intact despite getting hit by Nora's grenades.

End BGM

Despite looking no worse for wear though, she shrugged before raising her hands over her head. "Okay, Jaune… NOW I yield."

The onlookers who were watching the fight were amazed to the point of silence, as even Glynda didn't know what to make of the situation, until she felt Chorina tap her shoulder and gesture to Glynda to say something. "Th- The winner of this match is Team JNPR." The Deputy Headmistress of Beacon declared, as the students watching the fight were soon clapping and cheering for Team JNPR's victory.

"Way to go, Team JNPR!" Yang cheered gleefully.

"Great fight, you guys." Velvet said over the clapping.

"Wow. Team JNPR sure did well, I'll say that much." Rex commented as he leaned back with Marle nodding in agreement.

"Agreed. They were a great first fight between Beacon and these aliens." Winona complimented.

Nora waved her hammer around and let out a victory cry. "Nora, no showboating!" Ren said as he dragged her out of the arena.

"That was a good match" The alien robot told the two remaining members of Team JNPR. "I would've never thought you would snipe my limbs to slow me down, Pyrrha."

"Uh… Yeah. That's exactly what I did." Pyrrha nervously said. "Let's go back to the stands, Jaune."

"Huh? But what was that a-BOUT?!" He yelped as Pyrrha grabbed his arm and ran with him towards Ren and Nora."

…However, just as Ghoadry was going to step off the stage herself, she noticed something. '...Odd. My joints are back at 100% capacity.' She then turned to where Pyrrha ran off to. 'She didn't snipe me. She did something else entirely.'

Once the arena was cleared, Chorina cleared her throat. "Alright then. The next sparring match will be between…" Chorina spoke as the randomizer on the screen spun, eventually landing on…

"Team CRDL of Beacon and Kamysa of the Aliens. All competing parties report to the arena." Chorina announced as the humans of Beacon were somewhat conflicted about this.

Meanwhile, Team CRDL themselves were walking past Team RWBY, while Ruby was able to notice that the team member's faces weren't anything like overconfidence or bad intent of any sort. They looked focused on nothing else, but to fight their hardest.

Ruby was as shocked as she saw them turn the corner that led to the preparation room for the arena. Cracking a small smile at the fact that Team CRDL really might've changed with what has been happening.

As Team JNPR walked back towards where Team RWBY, CFVY, and SSSN were all sitting. Jaune couldn't help but ask. "So, any thoughts on Team CRDL in this fight?"

"They're toast." Yang said with the bluntness of a steel mallet.

"Yeah. No way they're gonna beat this Kamysa girl, and I don't even know how she fights." Sun answered.

"I do have some idea as to how she fights, but… It's rather puzzling." Ren said.

"What do you mean?" Weiss couldn't help but ask.

"Remember that coin she had?" Ren asked around, as Blake nodded.

"Yeah. I saw it too. I don't have any idea how she plans to fight with those coins, but…" Blake droned on as she saw Kamysa walk out onto the arena.

The yellow-finned alien flipped the coin in-question into the air and skillfully caught it casually, but Pyrrha could notice that the coin… Wasn't going up into the air as high as one would expect a coin to do.

"That's weird. That coin she's flipping into the air doesn't seem normal, somehow." Pyrrha said aloud.

"I mean, it IS from space." Nora commented as Team CRDL walked out onto the arena as well, weapons at the ready and eyes locked onto Kamysa.

Yang then had an idea. "Hey Nora. Wanna make a game out of this?"

The alien herself wasn't at all worried though, as she caught the coin in her hand and smiled. "So, you lot are Team CRDL.? You look like some rough and tough guys, I'll say that much. But you don't stand a chance against me. I've got more power in my arms alone than all of you combined." She gloated.

"We understand that, but that doesn't matter now." Dove Bronzewing said as he aimed his gunsword, Hallshott, forward.

"It doesn't matter if we can't beat you. We're still gonna fight." Russel stated as he cracked his neck while spinning his twin multi-dust daggers, Shortwings, in his hands.

"Guys, listen. This alien girl is gonna be tougher than any Grimm in the entirety of Vale. Be ready for anything." Cardin ordered as Sky spoke up.

"That plan's gonna have to be a work in progress, since the last two fights were only a preview into their skills." Sky told him as he twirled his halberd-rifle hybrid, Feather's Edge, above his head before pointing the head of the weapon forward.

"Talk is cheap here and now. So let's get to the main act, shall we?" Kamysa asked as she held her hands beside her waist, as if she was gonna draw a weapon out from the pouches beside her. While sparks of electricity were seen in-between the taser-like tips of her tentacle-like arms.

Chorina knew that the time for talk was over. Now, it was time for battle. "The match between Team CRDL and Kamysa will begin, in five, four, three…" She counted down as Jaune leaned forward, honestly not expecting much from the fight, but paying attention either way.

"Two, one… BEGIN!" Chorina announced as Kamysa took the initiative.

BGM - Last Surprise (Persona 5)

Taking two coins from the pouches on her waist, she tossed them into the air before catching them both in the tips of one of her tentacle arms, and electricity charging in-between them.

"Time to have some FUN!" She said with a smirk on her face, before firing the coins out and at Team CRDL one at a time like an improvised railgun.

"SCATTER!" Cardin ordered before the team split up, both to divide her attention, and to avoid the oncoming coin shots, which kept going forward as they struck the wall behind them and ricocheted off the wall of the arena.

And if that wasn't enough, with how the coins had hit the wall in-question, the angle in which they were gonna fly off in would make them head straight for the backs of Team CRDL's members.

All four members noticed this, and managed to dodge out of the way, Dove and Cardin by sliding under the shots while running forward, and Sky and Russel by leaping over them.

After Sky had landed, he pointed Feather's Edge at Kamysa's legs in an attempt to limit her movements, only for her to have seen this coming a mile away, as she already had another coin in the taser-like tip of her right tentacle arm, and pointed it at him, making him flinch from the possibility of getting shot by her.

She didn't get the chance though, as Cardin and Dove came in to bring her into melee fighting.

Cardin swung his mace, The Executioner, at her as Kamysa dodged with a simple sidestep, only for Dove to thrust Hallshott at her from behind as she twirled around and tripped him using one of her tentacle arms.

Sky aligned his next shot, oblivious to the fact that Kamysa had pulled out two more coins from her pouches, and fired at her.

The electric-powered alien didn't waver as she lightly tossed the coin in her left hand up, deflecting the oncoming shot and pointed another coin at him with her right hand, charging it up with electricity before flicking her thumb up, launching the coin right at him.

"AH!" Sky yelped in panic as he only barely dodged the shot by ducking down, only for the coin to bounce off the wall behind him, and ricochet off the floor. And as Sky got up from his kneeling position, the coin struck him in the back… Harder than he could've expected.

The electrical energy in the coin, coupled with the coin itself hitting him, sent pain through his body for a bit, to the point where his Aura had dropped to 72% from that one hit.

"What the…" Russel let out in shock at how strong that one hit on Sky was.

Cardin grit his teeth before Kamysa landed a swift flurry of punches and kicks on him. The armor he wore lessened the damage, but Kamysa didn't seem fazed by the durability of the armor in-question.

Which was when she flipped another coin into the air and reared back a punch, only for it to be a fakeout, as the punch was actually aimed at Dove, who was trying to intervene with Hallshott raised up.

Cardin couldn't react in time to the sight of another coin having been loaded up into Kamysa's right tentacle arm.

Electricity ran through both of her right limbs as she struck Dove in the chest armor with the coin on her fist, while the tentacle arm pointed at Cardin fired a sixth coin at him, the coin-in-question bouncing off his armor and flying off in the direction of the arena walls.

The strength of the attacks had taken both of their Auras out by at least 30% each, leaving the spectators dumbfounded by how hard she was hitting them.

"Woah… They're getting creamed out there." Nora commented.

"Yeah, she's knocking their Auras down like a car through a glass window." Coco said, amazed by how Kamysa was keeping them on the ropes.

Cardin and Dove were knocked onto the ground as Sky was only now just getting up.

Russel came in with his multi-dust daggers bared as they spun the Dust cylinders on them till they landed on fire dust, lighting the blades on fire before slashing in an X-shape at Kamysa.

Kamysa didn't seem deterred though, as she reared back her left fist with the coin atop it at Russel's blades, sparks and flames emanating from their clash.

"Gotta say, you four are somewhat impressive. Wasn't expecting you to last THIS long." Kamysa snarked.

"Don't count Team CRDL out yet, lady." Russel retorted as Sky was coming in from behind with Feather's Edge ready to slice at her.

Kamysa smirked before responding. "Sorry, but I think I will." She said as Sky leapt up to swing at her with his weapon…

Only for the coin she shot at Cardin to come up from Sky's side and strike him in his left side, knocking the wind out of him as well as sending electricity through his body, resulting in his Aura being knocked dangerously close to its limit before he fell onto the ground.

Russel was astonished by what happened. But in his shock, Kamysa took the initiative to pick up the coin that hit Sky with her right tentacle arm and charged it with electricity, aiming it square at Russel's chest, as he tried to back away in panic.

"Not THIS time!" Cardin shouted as he and Dove were able to get up, and knocked the tentacle arm away from its intended target.

This caused Kamysa to stop charging it, only for Russel and Dove to charge in and tag-team him in a flurry of sword and dagger swipes.

Kamysa caught one of Russel's daggers with her left tentacle-arm, only for Russel to use the other to hold her in place while Cardin swung his mace down onto the arena floor,. The impact caused the floor to erupt in a burst of fire dust, as Kamysa had also noticed Dove taking aim at her with the gun part of Hallshott.

Thinking quickly, she stuck her right tentacle-arm into the ground beside her, and shot a large bolt of electricity into the ground to counter Cardin's attack, while aiming one of her coins at Dove's face while it was charged with a small amount of electricity.

She flicked the coin at Dove lightly… Only for the collision of her and Cardin's attacks to occur near her and Russel, knocking Russel off-balance, and sending the coin at Dove's face faster, making him miss his shot as it went and struck Cardin's Shoulder, his Aura protecting him in that moment.

Sky had managed to recover after all this and managed to swing at Kamysa after she caught the coin she hit Dove with, she swiftly sidestepped Sky thrusting Feather's Edge at her, before spinning the halberd-rifle hybrid around vertically in a fashion similar to how Ruby would, which the cloak-wearing Huntress-in-Training spotted easily.

Only for her to catch the pole of the weapon with her tentacle-arms before lifting the tip up and planting her hands on Sky's chest flat. "Clear!" Kamysa said aloud before blasting electricity through the young man's body. He fell to the ground as his Aura got reduced well under the elimination limit.

"And Sky Lark is down." Chorina added before Kamysa flipped a coin of hers lightly.

Which was when she used her electrical powers to recall the coins she had scattered around the arena, by sending electrical energy tethers out to pick them up and return them to her.

Cardin saw this along with how she easily took out Sky, before looking at Dove and Russel from beyond her position, who're panting from exhaustion. 'This alien knows what she's doing… She's trying to tire us out to finish us off in one fell swoop.' Cardin analyzed, knowing full well that without Sky… No, even WITH Sky still with them in the match, this alien combatant of theirs would be able to defeat them… Especially since she was showing no worse for wear even after all that has happened. 'I hate to think of it… But we don't stand a chance against her.' Cardin thought as the grip on his weapon shook a little.

"Let's play a game, shall we Team CRDL?" Kamysa suddenly spoke, sounding like she was making an offer. "If any of you three can land a single hit on me with the melee functions of your weapons, before this coin hits the ground, I'll forfeit the match and give you the win." Kamysa offered.

Cardin, Russel, and Dove didn't know what to think as the latter two looked at each other before looking at Cardin, who looked just as confused and exhausted as they were.

"You'd better think quick." Kamysa said before flipping the coin into the air… Which sealed her combatant's fate.

Cardin didn't know what to think, neither did Dove or Russel, but seeing the determined look on his face was all the other two needed before they tunnel-visioned on a potential win, and collectively charged at her with their weapons barred.

Kamysa stood completely still, not moving an inch until Cardin got within five feet of her. Which was when she moved towards the young man and ducked underneath The Executioner before pointing two fingers at him, with Dove and Russel seeing what Cardin couldn't in time.

Kamysa had slipped two of her coins into her tentacle arms, and was currently pointing one at Cardin's chest point-blank in-between her two fingers, before each one was charged with enough electricity to be launched off.

Cardin didn't need to know more than that to know it was the end of the line, but he saw the look on Kamysa's face that spelled it out clear as day anyways, the electrical smirked while saying…

"Check." Before firing the three coins at all of her combatants, knocking Dove and Russel in the chests while severely damaging their Auras, and Cardin getting the worst of it when the coin had blasted his Aura to 0%, shattering it after having knocked him down to the ground, even putting a crack his chest armor at the same time.

Smirking proudly, she picked up the coins she shot at the three up before pocketing them with her eyes closed. "Easy pickings." She said after the fight was done.

"All four members of Team CRDL have been eliminated." Chorina announced. "The winner is Kamysa."

The people who were watching the fight were amazed at how she managed to pull off the win, as many students of Beacon were applauding for the battle, especially most, if not all, of the Faunus who were watching.

"Now THAT was a fight!" Nora cheered as she clapped for Kamysa's victory.

"I'll say this much, they at least fought till the very end." Yatsuhashi commented.

"Called it!" Yang shouted with a proud smirk. She then held her hand up as Sun, who was sitting near her at the time, grumbled and gave her a stack of lien.

"You made a bet?!" Blake asked in shock.

"What can I say? I had to take advantage of this somehow." Yang said as she counted the lien in her hand.

"But is that even allowed?" Weiss wondered before Yang tried to bribe her into being quiet with a portion of the lien, only for Weiss to smack Yang's hand away. "I'm already rich! I don't need your money!"

"Huh. More for me then." Yang said as she went back to counting.

"Ahem." Yang flinched at the sound of Glynda's voice before turning towards the source and seeing Glynda giving her what easily felt like a death glare. Before she pointed at Sun, which spelled out a message clear as day, leading to Yang handing Sun back the lien she suddenly didn't feel like she needed.

Cardin didn't need to know more than that to know it was the end of the line, but he saw the look on Kamysa's face that spelled it out clear as day anyways, the electrical smirked while saying…

"Check." Before firing the three coins at all of her combatants, knocking Dove and Russel in the chests while severely damaging their Auras, and Cardin getting the worst of it when the coin at blasted his Aura to 0%, shattering it after having knocked him down to the ground, even putting a crack his chest armor at the same time.

Smirking proudly, she picked up the coins she shot at the three up before pocketing them with her eyes closed. "Easy pickings." She said after the fight was done.

"All four members of Team CRDL have been eliminated." Chorina announced. "The winner is Kamysa."

The people who were watching the fight were amazed at how she managed to pull off the win, as many students of Beacon were applauding for the battle, especially most, if not all, of the Faunus who were watching.

"Now THAT was a fight!" Nora cheered as she clapped for Kamysa's victory.

"I'll say this much, they at least fought till the very end." Yatsuhashi commented.

"Alright. Hand it over." Yang said with a smug smirk. She then held her hand up as Sun, who was sitting near her at the time, grumbled and gave her a stack of lien.

"You made a bet?!" Blake asked in shock.

"What can I say? I had to take advantage of this somehow." Yang said as she counted the lien in her hand.

"But is that even allowed?" Weiss wondered before Yang tried to bribe her into being quiet with a portion of the lien, only for Weiss to smack Yang's hand away. "I'm already rich! I don't need your money!"

"Huh. More for me then." Yang said as she went back to counting.

"Ahem." Yang flinched at the sound of Glynda's voice before turning towards the source and seeing Glynda giving her what easily felt like a death glare.

She then pointed at Nora, which spelled out a message clear as day, leading to Yang handing the energetic Team JNPR member back the lien she suddenly didn't feel like she needed. As Glynda walked away, Yang gave Nora a pout. "Don't look at me like that! I didn't even have enough time to rat you out!"

"...Fine. You still owe me though." Yang said as she folded her arms and faced back towards the arena.

Cardin groaned in pain as he sat back up. "Hey. Winchester." He looked up to see Kamysa holding a hand out to him. "Hold your head up high, y. You and your team fought well for your skill level." She told him, earning a smirk from Cardin as he grabbed her hand.

"Well, I guess that's what me and my team could do, given who we were up against. I…" Cardin didn't know what else to say, considering he's never really talked to an actual alien like this before, but he sighed and continued. "Next time me and my team fight you, we'll be even stronger." He promised.

Kamysa smirked at the declaration as she turned around and walked towards the arena's exit. "I look forward to it, kiddies. Good luck." She said as she gave a mock salute with her right tentacle-arm.

Chorina, who saw that transpire, rolled her eyes before turning back to the arena. "And now for the next match." Chronia stated as the randomizer landed on a team. "Which will be Team PLNS against…"

BGM - Lighter EP "Fearless" (Zenless Zone Zero)

Three matches have flown by since the spar between Kamysa and Team CRDL, all involving Mesin, Ghoadry, and even Chorina.

Mesin was up against Team PLNS (Plains), who tried using a combination of Earth Dust and vines made from two of their members to restrict or limit Mesin's movements. But ultimately, they were overpowered by him and how even while restricted, his limbs were still able to grow in length, which he used to turn their strategy against them and seize a win for himself.

Eventually Ghoadry then fought against Team BRAK (Break), a team composed solely of boys, used a combination of Electric Dust and pure strength in an attempt to overwhelm Ghoadry's strength and mechanical traits. However, they underestimated how well Ghoadry could handle both types of attacks, and were completely overwhelmed by how she used not only her strength, but her speed.

And Chorina went against Team EGRT (Egret), a team composed of only girls, who tried to outspeed Chorina through a use of a speed-enhancing Semblance, a pair of boomerang-like weapons, and a Semblance that let one of the teams members split into two. But like the past two fights, Chorina was able to win due to them not knowing about the organic sensors that were her horns, and she managed to take out three members of the team with ease, thanks to her reaction speed.

The final member of EGRT was using her speed to charge Chorina full-throttle with a pair of white swords, with the intention of faking her out by swiftly sidestepping left… Only for one of Chorina's metallic combat batons to hit her head and leave in a daze, long enough for her speed to wear off, and for Chorina to land a kick in her stomach, knocking her to the ground and reducing her Aura just enough for…

"All members of Team EGRT have been defeated, Chorina takes the match." Glynda announced as the onlookers of the match were amazed by how Chorina beat them, as in the match.

"Dang it… We couldn't even hit you one time, and I don't even know how you got me with that falling stick. How'd you…" Team EGRT's leader asked as Chorina walked up to them.

Chorina smiled as she lifted the girl up onto her feet. "Everytime you began trying to attack me, you always used your right sword to strike first. Using that fact, I could determine you were right-handed, and given how direct assaults on me failed before over and over, I knew you'd try to fake me out by attacking from another direction, and moving left was the only way I calculated you'd be able to capitalize on that. So before you could charge at me, I had one of my sticks tossed into the air to not only distract your teammate, but also counter your fake out by making it so it'd come right down on your head. It was a gamble on my end though, had you intended to strike with your left sword, the fight would've gone for a bit longer at least." Chorina lectured as the girl stared in amazement.

Many of the people were shocked at how Chorina was able to see all of that, but then she continued as the girl's teammates got back up on their feet. As Chorina continued to talk with the team of Huntresses-in-training, Ruby was amazed by how the alien side was doing. "Man. The alien's side has won five battles in a row. They sure are tough." Ruby couldn't help but say.

"Yeah… Are we gonna be okay in a fight with JUST the three of us?" Blake asked.

"I thought so before, but now I'm not too sure myself." Weiss admitted.

"Yeah, Chorina and Mesin are especially tough, and the others are powerful enough on their own." Yang commented.

"Man. Crazy how the only ones to win a sparring match were us, huh?" Nora said as she kicked her legs up and down.

"Hopefully the next team will change that." Coco hoped.

Glynda pressed some buttons on her tablet-like Scroll. "Now then, the next combatants of the sparring matches will be…" The randomizer for the next round's fighters spun around, stopping on Team WVRN. "Team WVRN." She announced.

"Yes. Looks like we're up!" Winona said.

"OH YEAH! Time to show off what we can do." Rex rowdily exclaimed as Chorina looked up at them with endearment, wondering who'd their opponent was.

"And their opponent is…" Chorina spoke as the randomizer stopped…

… On… A question mark?

"Huh?" Glynda couldn't suppress her confusion at the randomizer's result. "What in the…" She tapped on the Scroll, only to find that the screen was locked in place.

"A question mark?" Ruby wondered.

"What the heck is that supposed to mean?" Yang also wondered in confusion.

"A mystery opponent? But why would-" Jaune was cut off by Pyrrha.

"Actually, I don't think Chorina planned for that at all." Pyrrha said as she pointed at Chorina, who looked less confused, and more perplexed at the sight of the results.

The students of Beacon were confused by what this could mean, as everyone seemed stumped by the results.

"Ghoadry?" Mesin asked as he slowly turned his head down at the alien robot.

"Don't look at me! I would NEVER do this… But…" Ghoadry lingered on a thought she had.

Team WVRN were also confused by the question mark. "What the hell is this?" Nero couldn't help but say.

Marle shrugged. "Maybe our opponent is rand-"

"It was already random to begin with." Winona clarified. "Something feels off."

Marle couldn't help but feel the same way… Only for her ears to twitch a bit. "What the?" She let out before she placed her hands over her Human ears, focusing her hearing to tune out the chatter and confusion…

And made out the faintest sounds of something approaching Chorina from behind.

"Wait… There's nothing there." Marle muttered.

"Marle?" Winona asked.

"U-uh… Sorry. It's just… I could've sworn I heard something." She said to Winona before looking at the arena where Chorina was standing after her opponents left… And heard the footsteps again, but louder, as if something was charging at…

Marle gasped before screaming. "CHORINA, BEHIND YOU!"

"Hm?" Chronia turned around…

But there was nothing behind her, as she sighed. "I would suggest you four get ready." She called out to them casually while still looking behind her. "Rest assured, the match WILL proceed. Just… Not as I expected it to, admittedly." Chorina announced as the audience was confused.

Marle couldn't be casual after that, running up to Team RWBY and grabbing them in an improvised huddle. "Girls, be careful. I don't know why she isn't reacting, but one of those Headhunterz guys might be here right now." Marle quickly warned them.

That thought set them on high alert, especially as the rest of Team WVRN seemed to be on just as much high alert. They ran for the changing rooms to get their gear, but not before noticing Ghoadry being calm about the situation, as was Mesin.

"You all needn't worry. There aren't any signs of the Headhunterz here."

"But… I heard…" Marle muttered as Mesin put a hand on her shoulder.

"Trust us. If they DID come here… We all would know." Mesin's attempt at comfort seemed to do something as Marle eased up, before catching up with her team.

After Team WVRN got their gear ready, they all stood at attention in the arena with their weapons and armor ready.

Winona now wore a darker red jacket over her red shirt, with black pants and black and red combat boots on her feet. With red armor planting on her waist, knees, shoulders, and arms. Along with goggles atop her forehead. And she wielded a black and red greatsword that she had resting on her shoulder.

Marle, with a nervous expression on her face, wore an orange and white combat suit with the emblem of a fox with a scarred eye on the chest, and black and orange boots on her feet. She still kept her earmuffs on, but had a belt with a holster on it that seemed able to hold them if she needed to. And she held in her hands an assault rifle and a charging lance with orange stripes on it.

Rex, leaping up and down and stretching, wasn't wearing his short-sleeved jacket, but now wore black armor over his light green shirt, with a raptor-like foot for an emblem right on the center, and bore brown shoulder spikes and red streaks on the side, with additional spiky armor on his thighs. And for what looked to be his weapons, he had armored gauntlets and boots with a single claw-like blade on each.

Nero wore a serious expression on his eyes, as he wore a black hooded cloak, and a black suit that had blue stripes fading to purple stripes from top to bottom, with a black mask with blue stripes over his nose and mouth. And in his hand, he held a black staff with blue and purple stripes, and two cube-shaped parts on the mid-section of the staff.

They were each ready to fight, but, aside from Marle, didn't know what to expect from this opponent Chorina told them to prepare for. Chorina spoke as Glynda eyed her with suspicion. "I understand this match-up makes no sense to anyone, but rest assured, nothing akin to a sneak attack on these proceedings is occurring, for the match will be between Team WVRN… And…"

"Khammy." Chorina said with a smirk.

Omni peaked out of the Omnitrix in shock. "Khammy?!" She asked.

"W-wait. Who?!" Ruby exclaimed in shock.

"Where even is-" Weiss didn't get to finish her sentence.

BGM - Chameleos battle theme (Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate)

"Begin!" Chorina declared, shocking Glynda at how she announced the fight's beginning.

"Wait! Now?! But where's the opponent?!" Glynda asked as Marle realized what was happening.

"SCATTER!" She shouted as she and her teammates didn't hesitate, and split up.

Winona was leaping backwards as Marle used her Semblance to focus on their opponent, who seemed to be moving towards Winona quickly, with what seemed to be an arm reared back for a punch. "Winona, in front of you! Block!" Marle shouted.

Winona stood her ground and raised the flat side of her blade to block whatever could come… And something did, impacting the blade and pushing her back a bit. "Wha- I got hit by nothing!?" Winona said in confusion, only to be swatted from the side by… What felt like a tail to her.

Marle gritted her teeth. "It's not nothing we're fighting! It's an alien that can turn invisible!" She told them, shocking the audience as she took aim at where their opponent, apparently named Khammy, was.

She fired a series of five rounds in the direction, only to wind up hitting nothing as she used her hearing again, this time able to catch that her opponent was… "Rex, BLOCK LEFT!"

Rex instinctively raised his arm up, and braced for an attack as she felt something impact his left gauntlet. "Well well, now THIS is a fight! HAHA!" He exclaimed as he swung his right gauntlet at the invisible opponent, only to miss and stumble forward. Only to block another attack with his right gauntlet, but get knocked back into a nearby wall.

"Okay. This might get annoying fast." Nero said before pulling out a smoke grenade with blue and purple lines on it from within his coat.

Marle used her hearing to track their opponent and saw that it was heading for Nero next. "Nero, do it!" She ordered.

Nero threw the smoke grenade down as it let out a large amount of smoke near-instantly, resulting in whoever their opponent was letting out a loud screech. "GOT YOU NOW!" He shouted before swinging his staff at the target, who he could see the outline of through the smoke, and aimed for what appeared to be a chest area.

Whatever their opponent was, everyone saw something stumble out of the smoke cloud, where their opponent flickered into visibility.

Out of thin air, from the ground up, a large crocodilian creature revealed itself. Despite being on all fours, it was still eight feet tall. It had teal green scale-covered skin with a more beige underbelly. Osteoderms ran along its back and its neck was fat and bulky. Its legs were somewhat bulky as well and there were three toes and a thumb on all four feet.

The opponent also had an almost fishy head with sharp teeth, a blue tongue, round, featureless eyes, an anglerfish-like protrusion on its forehead, gill-like holes behind its eyes, and a pair of frills reminiscent to a Dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park (Not that anyone in-story knows what that is). The frills were blue and had yellow circles on them, which were the same color as its eyes and bulb. It also had a similar bulb on the tip of its really long tail.

Their opposition, now revealing who this "Khammy" was, roared loudly as Winona and Marle were in shock at the sight of it.

The crowd was shocked at the sight of this new alien opponent as well, since they were never informed that a sixth opponent would be present for the sparring matches.

Mesin and Ghoadry were surprisingly just as shocked. "What the- But- How did HE get here?!" Mesin asked, shocking the students of Beacon that could hear him.

"Wait, you mean you didn't know that… Khammy was here?" Neptune asked in his own fit of shock.

"Of course I didn't know! I thought he was back in his sanctuary on Izumoria!" Mesin told them.

"He must've snuck aboard the saucer before it took off!" Ghoadry said as she facepalmed. "We told him to stop doing that!"

The confusion in the spectator's stands was cut off by the sound of gunfire. As Khammy was guarding shots that came from Nero, whose weapon was now split into two guns, the ends of the staff making the barrels, and triggers for them having come from their sides. "Alright. That was a pretty neat trick you had there." Nero said as he extended the barrels of his weapons gun mode out before reattaching them to each other, reforming his staff. "But it doesn't matt-"

"WAAAAHOOHOO!" Rex came in from beside both Nero and Khammy and started thrusting the claws on his gauntlets at the alien opponent before kicking with the claws on his armored boots. "I've never fought ANYTHING like this guy before!" He said before leaping over Khammy. "I've read stories about people fighting reptilian beasts more fearsome than any Grimm I've seen or fought up till now!" Rex continued as he threw a clawed punch at Khammy, only for the alien to block it with its tail, before wrapping it around his arm.

Khammy glared at Rex with what felt like curiosity to everyone who saw the fight, but Rex just kept talking. "I've always HOPED I could fight something like whatever the heck this guy is!" That was when the tips of Rex's right gauntlet claw glowed. "This fight is gonna be AWESOME!" He declared before swinging his right gauntlet up, sending out what appeared to be a light-green slash wave made from his aura.

Khammy ducked out of the way as the slash soared over its body. The tail around Rex's arm loosening up and letting him go as a result.

Which was when Marle fired some shots at Khammy, forcing it to move as Marle came in with her lance reared back. She thrust at the crocodile-like alien, who dodged out of the way of her lance's thrusts, only for Winona to come from behind as Nero spun his staff in the air, both with intention of attacking.

Which was when Khammy let out a small growl that sounded cocky. As it caught Winona's Greatsword, and Marle's lance in its arms, while using its tail to catch Nero's staff. It spun its body around, knocking them back as it threw a punch at Nero, who leapt over it before collapsing his staff into its dual-gun mode, both him and Marle firing shots at the alien, whose skin seemed to be durable enough to withstand the bullet strikes.

All the while, Winona came in with her sword ready and swung upward, Khammy dodging by stepping back as Winona continued trying to swing her sword at it, spinning her sword over her head and swinging from the right. With Rex coming in from behind landing a cut on its side, before throwing a kick at it, before it blocked.

That was when the bulb on Khammy's head started to spark a little, which was when it let loose a bright light that was intensified by the frills on its head that it flared up in that moment. "AAAAHHHH!" Winona and Rex let out cries of pain as the light had temporarily blinded them. This was followed by the reptilian alien spitting a black, sticky saliva at their feet, pinning them where they stood.

Rex snarled. "Okay, that's just playing dirty."

"I can't move." Winona said in panic as Khammy spun around and swatted both of them away with its tail, both barely able to stop themselves by planting their weapons in the floor.

Marle thrusted her lance forward from the side as Khammy dodged, and fired her rifle at it, the rounds all being ice as they collided with the alien's arm and chest. Khammy shrieked at the cold sensation of the ice as Marle spoke. "Alien or not, reptiles are pretty weak to the cold. Ask Rex." She quipped as Nero came in and struck at the frozen parts of Khammy's body.

While this was happening after regaining her senses, Winona pulled out an Earth Dust cartridge and slotted it into the handle of her greatsword, before a brown light shone from its blade, Winona herself being surrounded by a bright red light.

Khammy was struck in the chest by Nero's staff before he switched it to its dual gun mode, and fired rounds of Fire Dust at the alien. With landing a strike at Khammy with her lance like it was a baseball bat. This got Khammy to back up enough that he was right in Winona's line of attack.

"Try sneaking up on THIS!" Winona shouted as she leapt up and swung her blade into the floor, causing columns of stone to erupt from the ground as Khammy was agape at the sight, until a series of stone columns erupted from underneath the alien and launched it into the air.

Rex then leapt up in the air with his clawed gauntlets reared back, Fire Dust slotted into them for extra power. "Now to end it. OPEN WIDE!" He shouted before spinning his arms rapidly, fire trailing behind them as Khammy saw him.

Only for Rex's attack to land on Khammy's guarding arms as the alien was sent into the floor, with Rex landing with one of his claws planting into the floor with a smirk on his face.

Khammy got up as team WVRN got ready to fight more if needed… Only to see the crocodile-like alien get up in a daze of sorts.

"That's enough. The match is over." Chorina announced as Team WVRN was confused.

Chorina herself leapt into the arena and walked up to them. "Rest assured, neither side of this spar needs to fight. I hereby declare that Team WVRN has won the sparring match." She stated definitively as the onlookers watched in confusion. "Khammy, do you accept this result?"

The huge reptile hesitated at first until Chorina pressed a button on her suit, and pulled out what looked like a blue, beaked fish with large, yellow eyes on each side of its head from what seemed to be a pocket on her leg. "...Ruff." Khammy said before eating the strange snack.

"Uh huh. That's what I thought." Chorina said as she rubbed Khammy's snout. "Now then, I would like for you all to properly meet my adopted son." Chorina said with a smile.

That last line got Team WVRN to reel back in shock. Marle dropped her weapons in shock before exclaiming. "...Excuse me, but WHAT?!"

"That thing's your son?!" Nero asked loudly, earning a glare from the alien that made him flinch at what he said. "Oh, uhhh… No offense."

"Yep. To introduce him properly, this is Khammy. He's a Photosuchus I raised from an egg a long time ago." Chorina explained.

That got Ruby to think of something. "Wait, if he's Chorina's son, and you consider her your mom, wouldn't that mean…" She droned on as she looked down at Omni, who was still peeking out of the Omnitrix.

"I'll explain that in-detail later." She said quickly before ducking back into the Omnitrix, not wanting to be spotted by anyone.

Everyone was in shock at the sight of Chorina and her adoptive son, Team WVRN most of all. With the only ones that seemed to be the least shocked, or not at all, were the aliens.

"Should've known that it was Khammy who hacked the system." Mesin said with a sigh in his voice.

"Indeed. I expected as much when that Marle girl sensed her." Ghoadry added nonchalantly.

"Wha- How are you both so calm about this?!" Neptune asked in disbelief.

"Yeah! They literally got jumped by a giant alien crocodile thing, and Chorina JUST called it her son!" Velvet added, both amazed and confused by the whole situation.

Mesin and Ghoadry slowly turned their heads over to them before Mesin spoke up. "You'd be amazed at what that guy has done in the past." He said plain as day.

"And how this is probably one of the more light-hearted things he's done." Ghoadry said in the same tone.

Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, and SSSN were in shock at how laid back they were. And turned to Zenari and Kamysa who were right next to them. "Don't look at us. We only saw Khammy a handful of times." Zenari defended.

"Yeah. We didn't even think he'd know how to sneak aboard a ship, let alone hack the rotation." Kamysa also said in defense.

Team WVRN looked at Khammy as Nero spoke up. "How did this big guy even get here anyways? By the looks of your friends, I'd say even you guys didn't know about him being here." Nero said.

"I'm willing to guess that he snuck onto our ship back when we were leaving Izumoria. He must've wanted to see what was going to happen, and stayed hidden as a surprise." Chorina theorized as Khammy nodded, like it was confirming her theory.

"So then… How did he sneak his way into the randomizer rotation?" Winona asked, confused how that happened at all. "And moreover, even if it COULD do that, why didn't you sense him, or say anything?"

"Yeah. I seriously thought that whoever attacked Beacon yesterday was here for round two." Marle exclaimed, her worry on the subject now replaced with anger.

Khammy felt the hostility and shrunk from it, hiding behind Chorina in shame. "I understand your worry and your confusion, but Khammy's just a child more than anything. He just likes having fun wherever he can, so don't fault him too hard for that." Chorina said with a calm voice…

… Which was when Team EGRT's leader thought on her wording, and asked from the stands. "Wait. What do you mean he's a child?" She asked, getting the attention and confusion of everyone watching.

"Oh, ummmm… Right. Well…" Chorina scratched her head awkwardly as Ghoadry facepalmed.

While also holding a hand up and counting down from three with her digits alone.

"Three, two, one…" The robot muttered before pointing at Chorina and Khammy.

"Khammy's actually just a young member of his species. Only about… Ten years in this world's chronology. He's still got a lot of growing and maturing to do." The Weza Izumokita answered.

That ONE statement got everyone to go so quiet, one could hear a pin drop from the shock that overtook them, which was only broken when Rex broke the silence.

"WOW! This big guy's only a 10 year old of his species?! He was doing pretty good in that spar of ours! Even still that's pretty cool!" Rex said until Nero hit him on the head with his staff.

"NO IT'S NOT! This basically means we were shooting, slashing, and beating up an alien CHILD!" Nero scolded him as Rex rubbed his head in pain.

"Oh my goodness. We are SO sorry if we went too hard on you Khammy, it's just that you came at us so suddenly-" Marle was cut off when Khammy crawled over to her and nuzzled her face. "Huh. Okay, this feels nice."

"ARE WE REALLY IGNORING THE FACT THAT THE GIANT ALIEN CROCODILE IS ONLY GOING TO GET BIGGER?!" Winona exclaimed while flailing her arms, only for Khammy to lick the side of her face slightly in an attempt to calm her down. "Wha- Oh come on! This is serious!"

"Don't worry too much about his age. Khammy is always up for a good fight when he wants one." Chorina said with a smile.

"OR WHEN HE WANTS TO JUMP YOU IN SURPRISE!" Ghoadry shouted in what sounded like contempt or spite as she bolted to the very front of the stands on her wheels.

That was when Chorina rolled her eyes and patted Khammy on the side. "Come on, Khammy. Let's get out of the way of the other fights. Same to you, Team WVRN." She then began to walk out of the arena with Khammy as Team WVRN weren't so far behind, with Rex still rubbing his head in pain.

After that sparring match, Chorina was able to announce that Khammy would not be partaking in any more surprise fights, which (despite earning what sounded like a pout from Khammy himself) was able to calm the students down a bit. Although, Chorina did give Khammy another fish to make him cooperate.

"So what are those anyway?" Glynda asked the horned alien.

"Oh. These are simply called Peepers. They're from a newly discovered planet dubbed 4546B for now." Chorina answered. "Of course, they should be safe for Human consumption if you're willing to try one yourself. The eyes are very rich in-"

"No thanks! I'm good!" Glynda quickly answered.

As the fights continued on, more and more teams were getting beat by the aliens left and right, and despite the numbers advantage, none of the alien combatants seemed any worse for wear. Chorina, Mesin, and Kamysa not seeming to need any sort of breaks.

Team CFVY went up against Mesin eventually, and despite them being one of the most skilled second-year teams of Beacon, they were eventually defeated. It started out by Coco going all in on using Gianduju's minigun mode to put some pressure on Mesin early, as . Fox and Velvet tried to close the gap, only for Mesin to easily parry and block what attacks they had used. He then jumped high up in the air, and easily leaping off Yatsuhashi's shoulders. He not only disarm Coco of her weapon, but also uppercutted her into the air a bit with his lower-most left arm, and. He then drove her own weapon into her using the blunt sides of her blade, knocking her into a wall as her aura had taken a substantial hit, even knocking her sunglasses off her face and onto the arena floor. And the fight just went downhill from there, with Coco making her team forfeit the round after the alien had taken out both Fox and Yatsuhashi, leaving a nervous Velvet alone otherwise.

And amongst the aliens that were fighting, Zenari was eventually one of them. Her fighting style expectantly used fire-based attacks, but also weirdly enough used a combat staff she had strapped onto her back, as well as a pair of yo-yos that she was very skilled in using, with Team SSSN getting the full experience of that firsthand.

BGM - Fódlan Winds [Inferno] (Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes)

"AAAAAHHH!" Scarlet was knocked down as his Aura flickered and soon faded as he fell to the floor, with Sage charging in from the side above Zenari.

She tossed out one of her yo-yos, which Sage swung his blade to parry the attack and build momentum, only for the fiery alien to see the resulting attack coming and jumped up into the air. She landed on Sage's sword and smacked him with her staff, knocking him off-balance before she spun and slammed her yo-yo into his chest, breaking his Aura after it connected.

Not even flinching at the fact, Sun and Neptune jumped Zenari together, the alien dodging their rapidly piercing and spinning polearm weapons before Zenari ducked under Sun's Ruyi Jingu Bang staff and punched it upward, flames shooting out of her fist as the flames wrapped around her for a moment and kept Neptune from seeing her.

"Wha- What is-" Neptune couldn't finish that thought as Zenari's yo-yo came through the veil of flames she had around her,. Even the yo-yo was coated in thin flames as Neptune yelped at the sight,. He was barely able to move his head to the side to dodge it, before Zenari herself came out of the flames to throw some jabs at him before he could get his bearings straight.

Neptune grit his teeth and, as Zenari recalled her yo-yo, swung Tri-hard down in its Guandao mode at her, only for her to block the swing with her staff, which somehow wasn't cut in-half.

Neptune was shocked by the block before Zenari let out a huff of confidence, while he could only squeak out a… "Not the face."

Zenari shrugged before knocking Tri-Hard out of Neptune's hands and slamming one of her yo-yos into his chest, making him slide on the ground as his Aura got weak enough to knock him out of the ground by the rules.

The fire alien herself looked down at Neptune's weapon as it lay still in its Guandao mode, only for her to ignore it as Sun held his staff in ready to fight, his teeth grit as things were silent between the two.

Teams RWBY and JNPR couldn't help but feel bad for the sight, especially Blake who didn't really like the way Sun's team was getting trounced so easily. "Sun…"

"I suggest you surren-" Zenari began, only for Sun to let out a battle cry.

"Not. TODAY!" Sun shouted as he charged forward, separating his staff into its gunchucks mode.

This actually seemed to catch Zenari off-guard as she soon had to block a barrage of shots from Sun, his gunchucks spinning quickly as she had to use her yo-yos to block the shots, their material composition allowing her to do so. Zenari was able to see Sun's determination through it all, as he spun the gunchucks round and around while firing shots at her, she eventually grunted before back flipping and throwing her yo-yos at him.

Sun was able to block both by recombining his gunchucks into their staff mode… Only to not see Zenari rearing back two of her other arms, neither of her hands bearing anything in them, as plumes of flames erupted from them before he was forced to spin his staff in a fan-like motion to block the flames.

That gave Zenari the opening she needed to to charge up to him and point her own staff at his neck, before uttering… "Yield. Now." She ordered with a determined look.

Sun, with a sigh and a regretful look, turned to his defeated teammates before holding his hands up, his staff still in hand but no intent on fighting. "Alright alright, Team SSSN calls it here." He announced, making Zenari lower and holster her weapons.

Glynda sighed at the fact. "The winner of this round is Zenari of the aliens side." She declared.

Some applause came from the viewers, but some of them bore looks of uncertainty and dejectedness, while others had narrowed eyes of frustration or contempt. Chorina didn't even need to look at them to know they felt that way.

"Geez. Those aliens are really strong."

"Yeah. Only two teams were able to beat them."

"How were we supposed to know that the robot was immune to electricity?!"

"Or that the stretchy guy could lift boulders by constricting them?!"

"And my rubber armor Semblance did nothing to counter the electric girl either!"

"Well we at least came close."

"You're one to talk! Weren't you the girl that got lectured by Chorina?!"

"And weren't you the guy who thought it was a good idea to use Ice Dust against that fire monkey?"

"I thought it would throw her off. Okay?!"

"We are now two fights away from the completion of these sparring rounds. Let us decide the second-to-final contenders." Chorina announced as she activated the randomizer again.

The randomizer spun and eventually landed on Chorina again, making Team RWBY feel sorry for whoever she was gonna fight against. As the randomizer stopped, Team RWBY and JNPR looked on in shock… And mild worry.

That is until they heard a squeal of excitement from a few sets of seats away from them. "YEEEEEEEESSS! WE GET TO PARTAKE IN THE MATCHUPS!" The familiar voice of Fiona Lilac echoed from her seat as Ruby looked in her direction to see Melia facepalming at her reaction. Ruby couldn't get a read on two of her other teammates before they followed Fiona to the changing rooms… Who had dashed off faster then she would've expected.

"Team FILM will be facing Chorina in the next matchUP.!" Glynda announced before being caught off guard by a sudden arrival.

Fiona, who had a wide smile on her face, was already at the arena with her gear on. She still had her earmuffs on her head, but she also had a lilac purple and silver jacket-like top over her upper torso that had a symbol of a planet with a ring and antenna around it. Her suit also had two blue gloves covering her hands, and a blue suit making up her bottom torso with a silver belt that had a purple core in it, along with lilac and light purple holsters on the sides of her thighs and boots of the same color on her feet. And for weapons, there appeared to be two blaster-like weapons in those holsters, while she held in her hands a space-helmet with antennae on the sides.

After Chorina had leapt into the arena, literally by jumping from the stands she was standing by alongside Glynda, the rest of Team FILM eventually had walked in, the three of them wearing their combat attire, which shocked Teams RWBY and JNPR, and Coco of Team CFVY was pretty amazed by their style.

"Wow. Those are some pretty cool looking combat suits." Coco complimented as she smiled in approval at the look they had. She even lowered her shades while doing so.

Melia, who had a stalwart expression on her face, wore silver and yellow armor with coattails and a cloth in front of her torso, with black material making up the gaps in the armor, and an emblem with a winged dragon over her heart on the chest plate. And in her right hand, she had a large axe that Ruby guessed had a crossbow function, if the quiver of bolts for such a thing behind Melia's waist was of any indication.

Weiss couldn't help but agree with what Coco said in regards to the both of them… But the other two teammates standing by Melia were a vastly different story.

One girl who stood on Lilac's left side had blonde hair with electric blue highlights, and had a mask that was blue with red edges and had white covering her actual eyes, and the suit she wore had a similar color scheme. With the suit not having sleeves or pant-legs that left her shoulders and some of her thighs open to the air, while a pair of four pointed stars with one atop the other and blue dot in the center of them was on her suit. And a belt with the initials "I.S." was on her waist as well. She also had a smile that seemed glued to her face, armor seamlessly covering her limbs, and a shield with a pair of gun turrets on the outer edge of it with that same dual four-point star symbol on it.

While the other girl who stood on Lilac's right… Was by far the most off-putting of the four. With the girl wearing a mask with black holes over her eyes and a red mark over the forehead area. She also wore a tattered dark red cloak with a black and brown combat tunic adorning her body, with black fingerless gloves on her hands, and red armor on her boots that looked like they carried multiple weapons and knives on them. With her fingers even having sharp nails on them.

The duality between the two other members of Fiona's team was like looking at opposite ends on a spectrum of sorts. Ruby, Nora, and Jaune looked at the girl looking at the shield bearing girl like she was a superhero out of a comic book, while literally everyone else among their teams were nervous about how the grimly dressed girl (at least they thought it was a girl) looked like a serial killer.

Chorina smiled at the sight of the four combatants. "So you're this Fiona I heard about." She said, earning a shocked look from Fiona herself.

"You've… Heard of me?" She asked, earning a look of exasperation from Melia.

"Indeed. My associates have heard of you from some of the students here. I do hope your apparent fanaticism of extraterrestrials doesn't blind you in combat." Chorina told her with a smile still-present on her face.

"Oh. I already told her that." Melia said with her arms crossed, as her weapon was still held in her hand.

"After punching her again." The serial killer-looking team member said as their mask filtered their voice to be deeper than it actually is.

Melia was about to say something, but Fiona suddenly put all of them in a group huddle. "Okay, girls,! listenListen up! I've been watching Chorina and the others fight like a hawk! You know who Dr. Brainz is, right?"

"...Shit." Melia muttered as Fiona continued, with her knowing exactly where this was going.

As Fiona whispered to her teammates, up in the stands, Yang had come to realize something. "Wait. Are we seriously gonna be dead last on the list?" Yang muttered to herself with her arms crossed.

"You're realizing this now?" Blake said, being unaware of Ruby having a nervous expression on her face.

"Aren't you gonna tell them?!" Omni asked Ruby with her hands on her hips.

"Tell us wha-" Weiss asked before being cut off by her team's leader.

"NOTHING!" Ruby yelped as she covered Omni's holographic form with her hand.

"YOU CAN'T JUST SILENCE ME LIKE THIS!" Omni shouted, with her being muffled by Ruby's hand. And by that time, Fiona had broken up the group huddle, with the four now facing Chorina.

"I… Admit. This is probably gonna be a tough battle, the toughest me and my team have ever partook in." Fiona admitted with an awkward smile. "But… We came to be Huntresses at Beacon for a reason. If we don't take on the toughest challenge before us, then what's the point?" She said with confidence, before twirling her weapons in her hands and got into a fighting stance.

The girl dressed in blue with a smile present on her face laughed at the declaration. "AHAHA! The girl is right! If we don't muster the courage to spar with you, the Grimm would have us for lunch in no time!" She exclaimed with readiness to fight practically visible on her sleeves.

Melia sweatdropped before rolling her eyes. "I have no response to that." She said before preparing her own weapon.

Chorina nodded in response before speaking. "Not a bad response, young lady. Very well then. Let's make this battle a fruitful one." She declared before pulling her escrima sticks off her coat.

The ominously dressed girl spoke to Fiona. "Hey, Fiona. You got any idea how to start your plan? Cause I KNOW you wanna win this fight." She asked as Fiona put on a brave face.

Glynda began to count down to the start of the spar. "The sparring match between Team FILM and Chorina will begin in five…"

"I have no idea, Luna. But for now, you and Isana run some interference on her while I try to think of a plan." She said as she gestured to both her and her blue-clad teammate.

"Four…" Glynda continued as they spoke.

"Sounds good." The blue-clad girl, now identified as Isana, responded.

BGM - Colress Battle Theme (Pokémon Black 2 and White 2)

"Three…" Glynda continued as they spoke.

"Smartest thing you've said all day." Melia snarked as Fiona rolled her eyes.

"Two…"

"Let's just fight the best we can, okay girls." The team leader told them.

"One…" Glynda raised her hand before they nodded.

"Got it." They all said before the match began.

"Begin!" The teacher of Beacon announced before throwing her hand down, beginning the match officially.

Fiona's formerly unnamed teammates, Isana and Luna, dashed past her and Melia as they both sped towards Chorina in two different ways. Luna dashing at her before pulling a pair of guns out, and Isana flying at her like a classic superhero, her shield in her hand that she had held forward.

Isana flew up before Luna started firing at Chorina, who easily spun her escrima sticks around to block them before Isana dove down on her. She swung the edge of her shield at the alien while she dodged and ducked under them, which was when Luna charged at her with a pair of hidden daggers seen on her wrists,. She was trying to slash at Chorina with them, but the alien managed to parry the dagger swipes while also managing to duck and dodge Isana's shield.

Chorina backflipped away from them both, just in time for Melia to come in from the side and try to swing at her with her axe,. However, Chorina merely dodged to the side, with her nonchalant expression ticking Melia off as she kept trying to swing at her, . Luna meanwhile got some more swipes in at her.

Melia then shifted her axe into a crossbow weapon and fired an arrow at Chorina, who merely ducked under it, which was when Fiona charged past her with her weapons in-hand before she spun them around in her hands as hard-light Dust powered energy blades formed on them., giving them a striking resemblance to Ezra Bridger's lightsaber from Star Wars: Rebels.

"HYAAAAH!" She shouted as she soon swung at Chorina, only for her to parry the alien fanatic's blades with her sticksbatons and before using she used her tail to pull a third one off her coat. She then used it to parry another set of dagger swipes from Luna.

That was when Fiona noticed that Chorina seemed to be… gritting her teeth a little. All the while her eyes were darting around at her and her teammates. 'Can we… Actually pull it off?…' Fiona thought to herself as she went over the plan in her head again.

Isana charged in and spun her shield around vertically, making Chorina sidestep the attack as Melia came from behind and swung her axe down at her, forcing Chorina to block the attack by holding to of her sticks behind her hand, and with a lot of strength, before striking Melia in her leg with the stick her tail held.

Melia flinched from the pain and it gave Chorina enough time to push the axe off her back and drive her sticks into Melia's chest plate. "AAAH!" She let out in pain, not only pushing her onto her back, but making her Aura fluctuate at the same time.

"Dang it… They're getting killed out there." Sun said while watching the fight.

"Yeah. Looks like Chorina's gonna win again." Neptune added as he held onto a comically large bucket of popcorn.

That made Mesin look at him quizzically. "…Where did you even get that from?"

Neptune slowly turned to the multi-armed alien. "Uuuuuhh… Trade secret?" He answered whilst Nora whistled from nearby.

Luna and Fiona charged in, Fiona swiping her energy blades at her while Luna tried shooting at Chorina from close range with her guns.

Isana dove in-between them and tried to swing her shield at her, while using the gun barrel on it to catch Chorina by surprise, only for her to block the shot that came from it, and kicked Isana square in the chest before she flew back, catching herself before she could lose more of her Aura from it.

Chorina managed to hit both of them with her batons multiple times, putting dents in their Auras before Luna parried one strike and got close to her.

Luna swung the gun in her left hand at her, but when Chorina dodged and expected her to try and fire a bullet at her… Luna did something else, which she could only barely react in time too.

A hidden blade unsheathed itself from the boot on Luna's right leg. She spun around and flung a kick at Chorina, who barely had time to block the attack, only for her to sense something through her horns at that moment…

Too many things in fact, as Fiona had begun to thrust the energy blade in her right hand at her, while Melia had shot a duo of bolts from her axe's crossbow mode, and Isana had thrown her shield at her like a frisbee.

Thinking as fast as possible, she blocked Fiona's energy blade first, then blocked the oncoming shield at the right angle to make it fly past her and block the oncoming arrows, but that turned out to be a feint.

Fiona switched her other energy blade into a blaster configuration, and shot at Chorina's side twice, singeing her coat and making her flinch from the resulting pain. "Argh." She growled in pain. Whatever cool-headed face she had before fading away.

"NOW!" Fiona ordered before jumping off the ground, higher than Chorina expected as she faced her, only for her to sense Isana coming in for a charging attack from the opposite direction.

"AH! Chorina exclaimed.

Omni was in shock at the sight. "Did they actually figure it out?!" She couldn't help but wonder.

"… Figure out what?" Ruby asked her.

"Heh. You'll see." The little AI said as she conjured a digital version of the same popcorn bucket Neptune had. "… Crap. I forgot I can't taste things."

Chorina tried to recover in that moment, flipping off Isana's shield with a front-flip, she positioned herself to land on the ground, only to sense Luna sliding under her from below. 'Oh no.' She thought, as it was too late.

Chorina's feet landed on Luna's own, which were stuck up as she laid on the ground, before bucking both her legs up to launch Chorina into the air again, right as Melia fired some more bolts from her axe's crossbow mode.

Acting as fast as she could, Chorina parried the bolts out of the air with her escrima sticks, only to sense something from behind her… The only problem was…

'I can't dodge it!' She thought as Isana's shield struck her square in the back, launching her forward and onto the floor of the arena.

Everyone in the stadium was shocked at how Chorina was actually getting struck in this fight. As the alien tried to get back off the floor though, she soon got back up, only to see Fiona holding her at gunpoint with both her weapons in blaster mode. All the while, sensing that her teammates at their weapons trained on her.

"Fruitful enough battle for ya?" Fiona quipped.

Chorina didn't even flinch as she noticed how her and her teammates were positioned. "You even accounted for the risk of crossfire…" She said, noting how each of her opponents were aligned just right to target her and not each other. "Very well. I forfeit."

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Fiona shouted as she screamed in victory. "We did it, we did it, WE DID IT!" She cheered as she jumped into the air at a higher altitude than Chorina expected.

"Woah…"

"They actually beat her?"

"And without losing ANY of their teammates too!"

Weiss looked at the screen showing the stats of Team FILM's Aura levels, and was shocked. "Not even that much of a scratch?!" She exclaimed, seeing how each of them didn't lose that much of their Aura, only 45% at most for each of them.

Yang whistled in response. "Don't judge a book by its cover, I suppose." She said as she referred to Fiona.

"How the actual FUCK did your dumb plan work?!" Melia said as she stormed towards Fiona.

"Huh?" Chorina exclaimed.

"Hey! You can't fault me for it this time! It actually worked!" Fiona said with pride in her voice and posture.

"You got your plan from a B-movie you saw when you were ten! This is exactly like when Dr. Brainz and his saucer men abducted those Huntsmen!' That's not always gonna work, you know!" Melia told her as the latter took off her helmet.

"Hey! I don't know why you're lecturing me on this! We won the sparring match!" Team FILM's leader told her, until...

"Excuse me." The both of them went silent before looking at Chorina, who was eyeing them with a curious expression. "I won't deny for a moment that this plan DID work, but all I want to know is… How did you think to pull it off?" She asked simply.

"Well, it's a bit more complicated than-" Fiona was cut off by the alien they'd just fought.

"Humor me." Chorina said with a flat expression.

"Well…" Fiona began going through her thoughts.

"I knew for a fact that any of us going against you alone would spell bad news for us, so to counter that, we simply had to make sure that you were fighting at least two of us at a time. With what times there'd be just one of us fighting serving more as a distraction for us to get our bearings together. Mainly because I noticed that in some of your fights, while you were able to dodge some attacks, you seemed to have trouble doing so when multiple opponents were fighting you at the same time… Just like how Dr. Brainz could read minds to predict attacks, but he couldn't dodge or block multiple attacks at once The Huntsmen in that movie were able to use the same tactic to-" Fiona explained before being cut off by Melia.

"ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING DR. BRAINS BULLSHIT!" She demanded.

"…Basically speaking, just because you were able to sense an attack coming, that doesn't mean you're instantly gonna dodge or block it. Of course, we couldn't just enact the plan right away. We needed to slowly enact the plan over time to prevent you from figuring it out too quickly." Fiona concluded.

Chorina's eyes were slightly widened at the recap of her strategy, only for a smile to form on her face before she clapped her hands. "Well now. Bravo young lady. Bravo to both you and your team for coordinating so well. You actually managed to discover the drawback to my sensor horns. Very well played."

That was when the onlooking audience gave a round of applause as well, Mesin, Ghoadry, Zenari and Kamysa, even Khammy was clapping his hands with a jovial expression on his face.

"Though, I won't deny that…" Chorina soon turned a bit before pressing her hands against her back. "The shield that came flying at me REALLY struck me hard." She said as she stretched her arms over her head while stretching her tail out.

"Right… Sorry. Do you need some help getting that taken care of?" Isana asked kindly.

"No need. I'll be back in it within a few minutes." Chorina told them.

Luna shrugged as she spoke. "If you say so, Ms. Altegori." She responded.

"Please, Ms. Altegori is what many call my-" Chorina stopped talking before clearing her throat. "Just… Call me Chorina, if you ever wish to address me. Alright?"

Melia was confused by the sudden break in her words, but she didn't press for answers on it as she walked off. Isana looked like she wanted to, but knew this was not the time or place.

Fiona looked at her for a moment before looking down at her helmet. She wanted to say more, especially with how happy she felt, but a voice inside her told her that now wasn't the time. "Uh… Thanks for the match." She said before walking away with her team.

Though the sudden shift in Chorina's voice wasn't unnoticed by some of the students watching, as Team CFVY were able to sense that Chorina didn't want to say something. "You guys caught that too, right?" Velvet asked Fox and Yatsuhashi, both of whom nodded.

"Yeah, I did too." Coco responded.

"Something wrong?" Sage asked as Coco responded.

"Nothing important. Don't worry about it." She answered.

With Team FILM out of the arena, Chorina took a few minute break before addressing the crowd. "Well, it appears that we are down to the final match. And of course, the only team who has yet to compete is…" Chorina suddenly saw the board… and noticed that ALL of Team RWBY had signed up. "Oh you can't be serious."

"Ruby, you signed up?!" Weiss shouted at her team leader.

"You don't even have your weapon!" Yang added.

"Eh… Sorry girls. I… I just wanted to fight." She said nervously.

"I TRIED to talk her out of it, but I couldn't! And let's not forget that I'm physically incapable of stopping her as well!" Omni said as she popped up out of the Omnitrix.

"I thought we TALKED about this!" Chorina told herself loudly, enough for some students in the stands to hear her. Then she turned to the stands. "Everyone, it appears that there are some… Technical difficulties that must be addressed for this match."

"Like how one of the team members doesn't have a-" Sun loudly called out before Nora elbowed him in the stomach. "Wea… pon…" He squealed out.

"As I was saying, yes. One of the members of this team had their weapon destroyed by the Headhunterz. And therefore, it would be an unfair battle if they were to participate." Chorina said to the crowd. "Henceforth, I…"

"Oh no…" Ruby muttered to herself, but then Chorina lept from the arena and landed right in front of Team RWBY, causing Ruby to yelp.

"Propose a race instead."

The onlookers of this declaration were shocked at the statement, with Chorina still seeming able to move as well as before despite the match she had with Team FILM.

Meanwhile, the only ones who were able to respond was…

"SAY WHAAAAAAA!?" Yang, Nora, and Sun let out in shock.
