Even Heebyuk, lying half-dead, recognized the rhythm.

It was the chain-explosion pattern of Kalingoot ships.

His eyes widened as he listened—boom after boom, each one following the last like someone had arranged fireworks in a perfect line. Every blast showed another ship being destroyed, along with the siege weapons they carried.

He couldn't see the sea from where he was… but he didn't need to.

By the time the final explosion echoed across the land, Heebyuk's face had lost all color. The entire siege fleet—gone.

Shuan grinned proudly.

"Master Aksai arranged all this before he started his closed-door cultivation," Shuan said with pride. "My master always prepares for the worst first. He plans… and plans… and then plans again. Honestly, it's tiring for someone like me who acts on impulse. But in the end, he is always right."

Shuan looked at Heebyuk with bright eyes.
