"What is it? Can't you see I'm busy?" Dame Wasp snapped in annoyance as the Speclimes tried to get her attention.
She had been trying to locate her master, but all she had managed to determine was the last network tower his smartphone had connected to was within the town. That meant either he had never left the town, or his smartphone hadn't. Yet she couldn't triangulate the exact location of either one. The only thing she could confirm was that the smartphone had never left the Lander estate.
Specarc pointed toward the new Lander House, the one rented to Janice, informing her that a huge void-tire formation array had been set up in that area.
Dame Wasp only had to look in that direction to see it.
That was when Dame Wasp realized just how air-headed she had been acting. She had been so focused on trying to locate their master that she had completely failed to notice what was happening around her.
