Chapter 213 - Break-in

"I'll break as many needles as it takes to get this right."~ Gwen, The Hallowed Seamstress

I said that I'd be back on the 8th of December. I apologize. It was the 11th. The exams start on the 8th and mine is on the 11th. My bad.

"We need to get to the other side without alerting anyone." Sydell spoke as he pointed to the Stillwater prison.

Unlike everywhere else, the prison was an island off the southeastern coast of Piltover and Zaun. There were only two ways to get onto the island.

Boats.

Or the mechanical trams that ran from the docks straight to the entrance of the hold.

There was a third way.

Flight.

But aside from Gregori, no one cover that distance. Faye could come close but the distance was a little more than what she could currently handle.

"On it." Daani said as his form shifted to resemble a tall Piltover enforcer. "Lets go." His voice changed, vocal cords adjusting to his new voice, an older and deeper one.

He walked up the the tram station and found an enforcer.

"I've got someone unwilling to get on the tram. A big one. The Left Hand of Zaun from Silco's days." He told the enforcer. "Help me get her on."

"You got Sevika?!" The enforcer asked in surprise. "How'd you do that?"

He shrugged, "She's missing an arm. Couldn't do much after I hit her in the head. Struggled to drag her here but now she's up and putting up a fight. Flopping about like a fish out of water." He held his hand helplessly, "Help me out here."

"I get some of the credit." The woman said.

He raise his hand up asking her to stop, "You'll get as much you deserve. Not more. Not less. I'm the one who did all the work."

She eyed him up and down before agreeing, "But I get some of the credit."

"Alright." He grunted. "Come." He waved beside him.

And she followed.

"Put her right behind the walls." He said as he turned the corner.

THUMP

Her body fell to the ground the very moment she turned the corner.

"Couldn't you have waited?" Daani muttered as he watched Jinx stand over the enforcer,

Sevika looked at him impressed, "That was surprisingly easy." She said.

"Well..." Daani shrugged, "Been trained to do this. So yeah...."

"Stop standing around and get her armor and uniform off." Sydell said. "Daani come here. Let them dress the woman in the spare clothes."

The two boys stood with their backs facing the women as they quickly got Jinx into the uniform and dressed the enforcer enough to seem respectable but made her look like a drunk before sliding a bottle of alcohol next to her collapsed body.

"Now they'll think she's just a drunk." Faye said as she smiled. "Lets not waste any more time."

"Try to get the tram for ourselves." Sydell told Jinx and Daani. "That can get us onto the other side easily. Otherwise we have to stay here."

The two led a restrained Sevika to the station and held her out front proudly.

"You got Sevika?" The stationmaster uttered surprised.

"About to put her in the brig too." Daani answered, "Get us over there."

The man nodded and walked inside. "Pulling up the tram now."

Jinx stepped out and waved the rest over. The slipped through the shadows and arrived at the side as the tram slowly slid into position.

Daani got the stationmasters attention and the group slipped into the tram.

"Such a nice fella." Daani said as the two of them lugged Sevika in. "Even asked for my name."

"What'd you say?" Daisy asked as the tram lurched forward.

Daani smiled, "Called myself Gipin."

"Stupid name." Annie said unimpressed.

Daani crossed his arms, "Why don't you give me something better?"

"Elaine." She answered immediately.

He frowned, "For a man."

Annie shrugged, "Can't a man be named Elaine?"

"Can a man be named Annie?" Daani shot back.

Annie smiled, "Why not?"

"Why-" Daani did a double take as he turned to the rest of them, "Why not? Are you guys hearing her?"

They all nodded.

"Don't see a problem with that at all." Daisy said.

"Do you see a problem with it little brother?" Rell asked with a menacing smile.

He sighed in defeat before answering, "There is nothing wrong with it."

Sydell snorted to himself.

Fifteen or so minutes later, the tram lurched to a stop.

Pushing Sevika out the two led her into the prison while the others slipped out into the sides of the hold and in between some of the rock face formed from the waves slamming against it.

"Whooo big mama!" The warden looked at Sevika in surprise, "How'd you bring her in?"

Jinx shoved Sevika, "Gave her choice between this or a swim in the harbor." She spoke trying to make her voice deeper.

The warden chuckled.

"What about you?" He asked Daani, "Why'd you need two?"

Daani looked at Sevika and sighed, "She put up a helluva struggle on the way here. Stopped once we landed though."

"Reality's beginning to sink in eh?" The warden smiled. "We'll take great are of you." His eyes taking on a sadistic glint.

"I'll tag along if she chooses to throw a fit down there." Daani said.

And as he finished, a group of Noxian's walked out. Leading them was Ambessa, who had just seen the first couple floors with their new prisoners.

She glanced at the three of them as she walked past.

"Better not take risks with this one." The warden nodded. "Go with her."

Daani nodded and grabbed onto Sevika's shoulder, "Get going cripple." He growled.

The three of them entered the elevator to the lower floors.

"Cripple?" Jinx asked, "That's harsh."

"I'm sorry." Daani apologized, "Got too into character."

Sevika sighed and shook her head.

CLING

CLANG

With a twist of the keys, Daani freed Sevika's hand from the hook on the back of her belt and watched as she brought her wrist to her chin and rubbed it.

Ah.

Can't rub her wrists with only one hand can she. He observed as she brought her hand back down, discomfort evident on her face.

"I can rub it if you want." He offered.

Sevika turned to him with a dumbfounded expression, "What?"

"Your wrist.... You know..." He began to explain before sighing, "Forget it."

CRAANNK

The elevator halted.

"Don't fire that." Daani said as he walked out of the elevator returning to his human form. "Dad won't like it."

Jinx checked her pistol for a Hextechgemstone and ignored his words as she followed behind him.

Sevika followed the two giving her arm a good shake.

THUD

Daani slammed one of the enforcer guards into the table he sat at. Jinx moved to the two guards in front and knocked their heads together sending them crumpling to the floor. Sevika cocked her fist back and sent the only guard left straight into the wall beside them as he spotted them.

He walked past very cell, looking for Briar and Isha.

Meanwhile, Sevika pulled a lever freeing everyone.

"Hard to check through the cells if you free everyone Sevika." Daani called back as he continued.

Not there.

Not in any one of the cells in this floor.

"We got to go lower." He said as he turned around and walked to the elevator, ignoring everyone walking out of the cells.

"Here I am, your big fat hero." Jinx said as she removed the enforcer mask from her face.

The Jinxers looked at her with a mix of awe and elation.

"Join me once you are done here." Daani said, "And I won't be freeing them in the lower floors. If you don't see me, then I'm lower." He informed Sevika and stepped into the elevator.

The Jinxers walked past Jinx acknowledging her by placing their hands on her shoulder as they walked past to the other elevator.

"Lets head down." Sevika said.

Jinx stood still, trying to understand why these lot idolized her. Why they looked at her without fear.

"There are more of them lower." Sevika pushed.

She nodded, gritting her teeth.

Meanwhile, Daani made his way to the bottom floor and began looking through every cell.

Every floor had guards.

He had sent them all to sleep with a bit of physical persuasion.

"Briar." He said as he spotted her in a cell, "Isha." He called out to her.

Isha looked up, the panic slowly fading from her eyes but fear still prominent.

"Is it time to go?" Briar asked.

Daani nodded.

"Does daddy know?" She asked.

He chuckled, "If he knew the prison wouldn't exactly be standing as it does now."

"How... did you get here?" The bandaged man, Corin asked.

Daani brought a finger to his lips, "Secret." He smiled. "So are you getting out?" He asked Briar.

Briar nodded.

CRACK

KRAAACK

SCRREEECH

THUD

The cell door fell to the ground as Briar pushed it open.

"Get her out as well." He pointed to Isha.

Briar nodded as she grabbed onto the door and ripped it off the hinges. Isha ran out and hugged Briar's knees.

"Hmm." Daani looked at the two doors on the ground, "You did a better job with this one." He pointed to Isha's.

Jinx and Sevika arrived at the floor and spotted them.

"ISHA!" Jinx called as she ran forward, bringing the girl into a hug. Isha hugged her back, clutching at her shoulders as hard as she could.

CLANK

Every door unlocked as Sevika pulled on the lever.

"Lets get out of this place." Jinx posed as she led them to the elevators.
