*Rustle*
Ludwig heard a sound and turned. When he turned around, he saw a small ethereal body moving and jumping about. It was only a rat, so he overreacted.
Then once again Ludwig knew that the thought 'I am overreacting' has always been extremely dangerous for anyone to say in a mysterious scenario, so he decided to be even more alert than before. Anything that gave others a sense of security only made him question the risk of it and whether it would be worth it to adventure around here.
But he felt that there was an opportunity here, he didn't know why, it was inexplicable, but Ludwig heard many people calling it by different names. Nonetheless, he only looked through the town entrance zone and saw barely anything.
From the looks of it, it was definitely a cultivation town, since nearly every item had traces of spiritual power, but it was damaged to a great extent. What surprised Ludwig initially was the building style of the town, but he gradually came to a realisation.
