Chapter seventeen:
Wanda hadn't slept since it happened. Not for a second. She's been hounding Nick Fury about finding me. He said that they've been doing everything that they can but it was not enough. They interrogated the hydra agents that we had wiped out in the warehouse but they didn't say anything. They had expected a ransom note that the nuclear matter and vibranium for me but they heard nothing. That evening was quiet and still, the perfect night for Wanda to sit on the bench with me and look at the stars. But instead Wanda was searching the internet for any sightings of a fast person or purple mist or anything that would give them a clue to where I was.
All of a sudden Wanda heard wind and it was strong and repetitive. Wanda then took a look outside but there was no breeze. Wanda then thought that must have been me so she ran to her room but there was no one there. Everyone else went outside trying to track the wind. They were searching for any sign. The gust of wind blows and there's a shout. They all turned around and Sam was lying on the floor. They heard another thud and Bucky Barnes was on the floor too. It was me it had to be. I was messing around with the Avengers.
"Alright Travis stop playing games with us." Said Bucky Barnes. They then saw me at the door way
I stood in the middle of the bar breathing heavily as if something was wrong. "Travis it's us. This is not who you are." Replied Sam Wilson. What was he mumbling about?
Within seconds I had Sam Wilson by the throat and dragged him through every piece of furniture and left him a pile on the floor. What was I doing?
"Travis stop it's us." Said Wanda. All she could see was my red eyes.
"They turned him into a winter soldier." Replied Sam Wilson.
I tried to grab Monica but phased through her. Monica tried to hit me but before she could I sent her flying into a wall and she didn't get back up. Sam tried talking to me but I charged him through the window and punched him repeatedly. Next I had my eyes on Peter Parker. I looked at him for a second.
"This isn't you Travis." Said Wanda. I caught Spider Man mid air and dragged him towards me and punched him in the face and left him limp on the floor.
I then looked at Wanda and tried to see her... It's like I was fighting myself. I charged towards her and hit myself on every table and chair I could.
Wanda tried trapping me in place but I was too fast. I ran straight into her and sent her flying into a wall. I was then on top of Wanda and reached for her throat. Wanda then put her hand on my face.
"I love you Travis. It's going to be okay." Said Wanda.
Bucky started to get up. "You need to knock him out. Illusion use your illusion. And not the sweet one but one that will break his heart." Replied Bucky Barnes.
With that I threw Bucky against the wall and punched him again and again. While I was distracted Wanda got behind me and made me see an illusion the same way she had when she first met the Avengers.
I was fighting so hard with every urge of my body that I had. I was fighting my friends and the woman that I love and hold most dear. I was punching Bucky again and again. And it was like my body was enjoying it.
"Do it now." Said Bucky. Suddenly everything went red and I was lying on the ground I saw flashes of everything. I was back in my childhood bedroom and my ex girlfriend was in front of me I was reliving the dramatic moment. Echoes of he's disgusting echoed in my head. It was like I was screaming but no one could hear me. Then my birth parents were shouting at me and told me to get the hell out of their house.
Next I was Jordan's house. Our parents and him were telling me that I was a huge mistake. That they charged their minds and didn't want me anymore. They then started to throw my stuff out the window. Jordan told me that he hated me and that I ruined his life by taking his parents away from him.
Next I was outside of the cabin and opened the door. Wanda Maximoff was standing there and she looked beautiful. Beside her was a man who I thought was White Vision.
"He came back for me. And I don't need you anymore Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff before she kissed White Vision long and she on the lips.
All I could do was cry from what I was seeing. This was all my fault.
I then saw red again before I opened my eyes as the illusions stopped. Wanda was on top of me and pinned me down below her. "Wanda is that really you?" I said.
Wanda then began to kiss me passionately and romantically. I started to breathe again but I was so scared of what I might do to her.
"Stay away from me. I'm to dangerous to be left alive. Please just stay away." I said now fully awake.
Seeing the damage that I caused to my friend's I started to hit my head repeatedly.
Bucky then walked over to me and held my hands. "He needs help. We need to take him to Wakanda. They'll know what to do." Said Bucky Barnes.
"Handcuff me please. I'm not safe to be around. I'm better off dying alone. Please just handcuff me." I begged them.
Wanda then started to cry whenever I said that. Sam Wilson then started to handcuff me.
"Wanda I'm so sorry. I love you and I'm true and terribly sorry that I hurt you. I'm such a idiot. I promised that I would never hurt you." I told her with tears in my eyes.
Wanda then came over and cupped my face in her's but I didn't look at her in the eyes.
"Look at me. Please baby. This isn't who you are. And we're going to get you the help that you need. I love you more than anything else in the world Travis. We're going to be okay my love." Replied Wanda Maximoff.
Sam Wilson then injected me in the arm and within seconds I'm sedated and left with the nightmares of what I had done.
